@marshall2411 Everytime a Miami receiver would go up for the ball they would get pounded by an OSU defender thats what really impressed me. The defense would not make it easy for them at all.
Thats one thing tressel lives by is respect for his opponents not like a meyer or saban or stoops who try and hang as many points as possible on their opponents.

@marshall2411 Tough to say. Penn State if it were not for turn overs in the red zone would have made it a hell of a game. I think Ohio State could play them well and better than Penn State did. We have a good secondary but Julio Jones is just a play maker. McElroy when he is not under pressure is a good QB. Bamas got a killer run game with a great two back system. I do not think anyone will do much to stop Bamas run game. To beat Bama you have to make McElroy make mistakes.
@marshall2411 Can OSU stop Julio YES! With solid tackling especially in space they can do it. Can OSU hold the run game? I beleive they can hold it but they wont completely stop it. Can Ohio State get pressure on McElroy? Yes they can! If Ohio State and Bama meet in a bowl game it will be decided on the offensive and defensive lines. Pryor needs to be smart but also know that at times its best to step up into the pocket rather than out unlike Troy Smith did against Florida.
@josh19852008 it would be a good game, that is forsure. We get penetration on all O lines we face it seems, and our O line looks great too. One thing we are missing is a KILLER RB. Saine is very good, Boom is good, and we have lots of promising young superstars maybe, but we really don't have a Beanie, Clarett, Eddie George right now that Defenses have to prepare for.
@marshall2411 You are right but Saine and Herron are good running backs and a good dual backfeild threat. We have 3 RB though at any time on the feild depending on what package we run. Pryor, Saine, and Herron!

@josh19852008 as long as the D stays healthy, that is no concern of mine. We will improve on offense as the year progresses, just like last year. Remember we struggled on offense at the beginning of last year. This year, doesn't look bad, and it will get better. We have a couple of cupcake games now, then off to Wisconsin and Iowa, tough games. Don't sleep on MSU either. The Big Ten looks pretty tough this year

@marshall2411 Pryor needs to be able to take what the defense gives him but exploit the secondary where they are in experienced. OSU vs Bama what ever team keeps the big plays limited, keeps everything in front of them, plays with intensity on the offensve and defensive lines, stays physical, and limits mistakes which as a Buckeye fan something Ohio State has not done lately what ever team does these things wins. OSU has to prove that they can do it though.

@OSUjunki i agree and im from and currently live in cincinnati the talent they have is very underrated due to the beating in the sugar bowl, and yes it will be very hard to win in the shoe it always is but i think if miami gets a two possesion lead lik a nine point lead late in this game it could be over seeing how osu will rely on TP to throw the ball to win. thats a big if but its a possibility

@marshall2411 Pryor needs to be able to take what the defense gives him but exploit the secondary where they are in experienced. OSU vs Bama what ever team keeps the big plays limited, keeps everything in front of them, plays with intensity on the offensve and defensive lines, stays physical, and limits mistakes which as a Buckeye fan something Ohio State has not done lately what ever team does these things wins. OSU has to prove that they can do it though.

All I will say is FUCK all you peice of shit fans that say Ohio State cheated. Ohio State had to win that game twice. They had the game won until the ref called a clear catch in bounds by Chris Gamle incomplete that would have let Ohio State run out the resf ot the clock. Ohio State got a call and it was a good one. It was reveiwed by the NCAA and they said Terry Porter made the right call.

the 02 game the ref did make the wrong call it was not pass interference it was holding at the line. either way it results in the same yardage and a first down. Miami should be ranked higher up like 3. still think the Buckeyes r going to win this game but it should be a nail bitter till the end

Miami was playing their tails off in that game they couldn't believe how fast OSU's defense was. The refs handed you guys that game and still couldn't put it away. Remember when they ruled a catch made by Gamble out of bounds and Miami tied it up. If the correct call was made there would be no ot and OSU wins 17-14.

And there were bad calls in that game but I ain't gonna moan about it. And there were so many bad calls it was as if the refs were blind.
