he means T30 star bolts on the access panel not a 30mm bolt. 30mm is bigger that 1 inch bolts.

Hi,
Thank you very much for posting this video. I just purchased a 2007 Ram 1500 with no tailgate lock. After having a tonneau cover installed a tailgate lock was a must have. After viewing your video I was able to install my Bully lock in ten minutes. It works great. Thank you again.
