Here's a small Japanese lesson:
ボ means "bo".
ン means "n".
The dash means an extension of a vowel. For example, "Mahjong", with a long "a" would be spelled like this:
マージャン
So, ボンボーボ would translate to "bonboon". Get it?
That would make it pronounced like bon bun. (as in baboon)
Pronouced Bon Bon.
English works different from japanese, it's technaclly bonbo-n. (with a slight o extension, the entire pronouciation doesn't change.)
