Hiya Justin. This is great. I hope that you're going to start composing music much better than Jimi's. I know you can do it (:o) The easiest way for people to tune their guitars down a semitone or half step is to tune to normal tuning while having a capo on the first fret, then just remove the capo. I discovered this myself, and it works lol.

I've been struggling with this song for a few days now but this lesson nails it with very easy going communication. I love the way Hendrix's playing style and attitude is emphasised. I am glad this is in regular also, I can't stand drop tuning for learning new stuff. I can never be arsed. Nice one.
