My god, the endurance level in this match is beyond belief. Kobashi really took the most punishment I've seen him take, even more so than some of the Misawa matches.

whereas akiyama's life and career was totally in kobashi's hands there in that sick free fall, i mean even kobashi was coughing blood from that bump! OK now that i got all of that mark out of me... (lol) NO Shawn Micheals is most certainly not in Kobashi's league, or Akiyama's for that matter. Fans need to separate performers from entertainers. and as much as Shawn is one hell of an athlete, he's incredibly watered down in comparison to these two. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this upload!!! ok with as much do respect as possible, FUCK the star system; FIVE stars doesn't even do this match justice. I've seen MANY of the five star Meltzer matches, and this is FAR more intense then many of them. So if i could give this 6 i would, but moving on; my spine is pretty much hurting ME from some of those sick fucking bumps. that vertical suplex from the apron... god that shit was just paralyzing; i mean at least kobashi got to position himself and prepare a proer trajectory...

Absolutely phenomenal. The two bumps on the outside were fantastically timed for the story of the match and the near fall endings were great. definitely worth the 5* moniker

It is an awesome match with a fast-paced, hard-hitting finish. I still don't think it was MOTY for 2004 (WM XX Main Event w/You-Know-who should have been). It dragged a bit in the last half of the 1st part and first half of the second part, which makes for a slow quarter of the match.
