This was one of those situations where life almost imitated art. When Flair went down to FL to do that photoshoot with Randy and Liz...Liz confided in Ric that her and Randy's marriage was in trouble. Flair also mentioned that she was very apologetic for her and Randy not being on their game for this photoshoot due to the fact that they really weren't getting along all that well at the time.

I shudder to think what would've happened if the original main event of WM8 went through and they bought Hogan's personal life into play, where Linda Hogan would be introduced to us for the first time. Would Flair be allowed to taunt the WWF's crown jewel of the 80's like this? Would he claim to be Nick Hogan's father? Man, that would've been a chaotic WM8 main event!
