Unlike with a car, when you give it a bit of throttle in a corner on a bike, the weight gets distributed more to the back tire which is wider and therefor has more rubber in contact with the road.

It's exactly the right thing to do. When you don't gas it (or even brake) while in the corner, you have a bigger chance of your front wheel giving out.

Next time you see a sport bike take a good look at the tires and you will immediately notice how much smaller the front tire is.

You always accelerate (even just a bit) on a turn. It increases traction in the tires, and your much less likely to slip out. The same is true in a car; you should, of course, brake prior to the turn.

A problem with speedometers on bikes in curves is that they are running on the side of the tyre where the circumference gets smaller and the rotation speed of the wheel increases even if the rider are running at constant speed

The faster he turns the greater the error of the speedometer become, because of the increasing leaning angle

One more question is if the speedo is correctly calibrated even in a straight line - but the speed in the video is impressive!
