  • those kids are working there during their summer break to get some money and see the job as a barbier. thats like a placement for the kids to see and decide what they will do in future. the job as a barbier in Turkey is very hard. you will not be rich with this job. you can only pay your bills and feed your family. the kids see the hard conditions there and most of them decide to study, to learn in school. their aspiration is to get better jobs after study. i lived in Turkey and i know this.

  • are the boys apprenticed to the barber? or are they just makin a quick buck

  • @Lesbiwolf92 No, they learn it in a short time, some do these kind of work, the others wish dishes, try to make music, or other stuff, like a modern "Ghetto" life, everyone can do the light work

  • Whats the name of the Artist and song at 6.20?

    I like it very much!

  • @olle80 its Hande Yener

  • yeah good service and stuff, but look at his haircut?! Looks awesome and modern and cool.... if you'd live in the 1930s!

  • @irgendwerjoker It looks like Hitler's hair cut

  • @irgendwerjoker Looks great even today!

  • What's interesting with turkish barbers is that they seem to pay great attention to every detail. They'll do a perfect job and take the time they need to accomplish it. That's the kind of spirit more people need.

  • In New Zealand, health and Safety regulations prevent shaving in barber shops (if you can find one) Don't you just hate the Nanny states that say you can't have someone shave your face with a razor.!

As for this guy doing the shave and hair cut, christ he is good

  • @mav3r1ck69 Slightly wrong there I was, as long as you have several hundred qualifications, passed numerous tests and been certified by the relevant organisation, then you can... no wonder I can't find one, who'd bother.

  • uhhhggg, i am at least half as relaxed as the man in the chair! these just chill me right out i can alsmot feel the tingling in my skin. i want to sleep now!

wish there were some of these barbers in canada...

give me a thumbs up if you agree!

  • @Bluestarcinema Mate, apparently in Vancouver. But like here in New Zealand, good luck finding them if still in business.

  • Warum sind Titel und inVideo-Text auf deutsch, but the description in english?

  • beatiful

  • What is he drinking at 06:10?

  • @olle80 its çay a traditıonal turkısh tea

  • THATS SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SARKIYA BAK hahhahaha cok uymus :)

  • this video has potential, but the fast forward fucking kills it. what's the fucking point trying to relax to this?

  • I watched this twice in succession and was falling asleep both times, it was so soothing and I could feel the massage on my head and neck. Great job! great barber!

  • This is so relaxing to watch... I definitely could watch the whole thing in regular time if possible...

  • name of second song is Mahsun Kirmizigül Sari Sari

    last song Hande Yener Kirmizi

haha sari sari means yellow yellow and kirmizi means red hahahaha

  • look....its johnny carson...

  • Would anyone happen to know the specifics on the third song in this video?

  • for some reason i found myself singing along with the song even though ive never heard it in my life o.O

  • george bush...

  • I want the very first songs name anyone know?

  • @MADdrummer971 The first song is: Yaşar - Elde Bir Var watch?v=R4TH12523dQ

  • @sinan54turkey Thank you

  • the barber has a better fade then the gorge bush looking person he is cutting

  • It's good to have male barbers...they know what men what. I'm tired of all these female stylish salons that mess up mens hair. I went to a turkish barber today...and I was very impressed...he wasn't as good a conversation as the itallian barber I had a few years back, but when he did the flame thing to the ear...i was impressed...it felt like that little bit of extra service.

  • I hope he left a generous tip - something more than "work hard and be good to your mother."

  • i like that turkish music, its kinda relaxing...

  • hitler!!!!!!!! 4:00

  • @SupportDavidsfarm Fuck U. Idiot...

  • Now thats a proper barber

  • Child labor FTW!

  • @iwillplayforgumbo better working than hanging around street corners! Iwas working part time at 11yrs and that is in uk tho it wouldnt be allowed now with the british nanny state.

  • min 6:57 sfruttamento minorile!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Those 2 kids should be at school! :(

  • 1:47 är kul om man är svensk ^_____^

  • why are the best scene are so fast?

  • @methodb2001 2007, Youtube only allowed videos with 10min.

  • generally Turkish barbers are very skillful and proud of their works , but don't expect to get massaged extensively as in this video at every shop .. I guess it very much depends on the city and the barber himself ..in the European part of Turkey you'll get just few seconds of head and face massage , and that's it

  • this is called wellness oll inklusive

  • Anyone have software that can slow down the massage portion and repost this video?

  • the barber has a better haircut then this gorge bush looking guy

  • hahaha he is in shock :DDD

    Welcome To TURKIYE

  • Hair cut not really sure, but shaving looks really good!!!!!!

and massage, the kid at left was using machine... I don't like it...

I hope it be all by the barbier!!!!!

  • he look likes fuckin george w bush

  • Stop at 4:23... It's George W., isn't he???

  • Does slapping that fire ball on the face really make a difference? Does it take out the whole hair out or what?

  • @jay733 it removes hair he does not want to or can shave..

  • Is that guy George W. Bush having the haircut and shave?

  • hello everybody ! in august this year I visit Bodrum, can someone tell me if I can find such a service in that town and if yes where?

  • @BWDrayttt

dont worry, every berber shop in turkey offers that kind of service :)

  • the guys grey hair came in with a strange pattern on the video but i'm sure it was fine in reality. notice the 2 fourteen year old boys helping. probablly family of the barber or apprentice barbers. they even massaged his calfs with an electrical massager. the whole thing would cost $50 with the massage in the us if you could find a place that will perform this. in turkey this is all for about $5. if it existed near my house, then i would be there every other week

  • Slaves of Antalya!

  • I would love to see the original un-edited version. I like hearing all the noises of the shop and would like to see the whole thing at normal speed.

  • I want to get pampered like that...even though im not a guy lol

  • Man, i'd KILL for service like that!

  • Turkish barbers are some of the best in the world. Next time I'm somewhere like New York, I will go out of my way to find a Turkish barbershop

  • I know they show the name of the first song at the beginning, but I wonder what the last song played is called, its catchy.

  • @tonyrags That song is from "Hande Yener" and the title is "Kýrmýzý"

    Hope that i helped you..

  • @tonyrags shut up

  • ja, es ist eine gut Prozedur

  • I wouldn´t like that kids doing things with my legs.

  • seriously

  • Turkish barbers are very good!

    I love the video :)

  • saturday job?

  • Where is this place and do they accept visa?

  • I hope he tipped them well. They did more than I've seen many a barbar across the world do....

  • George Bush is that you?

  • Now that's what I call a shave and a haircut.

  • best hairdressers are in Turkey. you get full service for nothing. they examine and cut your hair with the attention of a doctor giving you a surgery...

  • Wheres the money at?

  • looks good but how does it stack up against my Mach 3?

  • hahaha he looks like george bush at the massaging part

  • @aublitius The bush family is from Germany so maybe he is a long lost relative.

  • guzel

  • @RolMaster, Your children studied all the time and they became cops. Damn, that's pitiful. I've never met a cop that wasn't a lowlife and had an attitude.

  • This could be during their summer vacation and they are working to make some money. No harm in that.

  • Comment removed

  • I hope you gave them a big tip! Going into something like that ..... that intense... you prob knew how much they would be worth a lavish hand out .... lol they are top of their trade....

  • Those kids are maybe the babier's sons and wanted to just help- it's not child labor. It was their choice.

  • well, probaby...

  • A threesome treatment!Wouldn't be very relaxing to me!;)

To the"child labour- discussion".They are not forced to work there and the work isn't hard!I had to carry buckets of coal as a child!THIS is bad!;)

  • Childrens? Ha-ha! You crack me up.

  • he is hardly a child, more like a teenager trying to get some pocket change so he can buy a bike or some shit.

  • @metalheadtilimdead12 Actually he is an Apprentice Barber. My Turkish Co-worker explained that many young men work for 5-10 years under Masterbarber sweeping the floor then slowly move up the ladder till they can work on customers hair then eventually get to level of shaving them.

  • I don't see the problem. It's not like they're working a cave mine.

  • OYE KNOWE MY GAWDE!!!

  • service

  • Haven't they got any more customers? They must have spent about four hours on one man!

  • wow

  • Jesus man why don't we have anything like that in the states... BS. Business Idea? maybe.

  • whats the first songs name?

  • yasar - elde bir var...

    /watch?v=R4TH12523dQ

  • yup, it costs nothing and it pwns. He looks so good afterwards.

  • The guy reminds me of Arthur Petrelli (Peter and Nathan's father) from Heroes.

  • This video was in fast forward mode 90% of the time and it was still 4 minutes longer then the guy who cuts my hair

  • Dude, you skipped the best parts... more massage, less boring haircut!!!

  • @royalcrown

    I thought that too

  • @royalcrown You're sooooo right!!!! Fuck haircut, gimme more massage!!!!!

  • @royalcrown shut up

  • the guy looks like Bush junior

  • why are you scared my child

  • God! I live in Antalya! Where is that barber shop! Generally you pay 10 Liras (=6 USD) for half of that treatment ; which includes haircut, beard cut, ear hair removal, a light sculp massage and some neck and upper back massage. But this guy obviously gives a extraordinarily special treatment. Massage of calves? I've never had that! I believe the custemer have paid around 10-15 USD.

  • woah, for 15 bucks all that, for 15 bucks we get a bitch the yankishly cut at our hair and 95% of the time fuck it up...you got the good life

  • A bitch is a female canine. It is also a common English profanity for a woman that typically carries denigrating or misogynistic overtones—such as resemblance to a dog. It is also used to characterize someone who is belligerent and unreasonable, or displays rudely intrusive or aggressive behavior.

  • @ayza5223 Fuckin' espresso during shave time. I think we've forgotten how great simple courteous things like that can be.

  • whats the object at 3:00?

  • removing small facial hairs

  • Gon ride around bumpin that shit. Thanks playa

  • What is the third song's title?

  • the title is KIRMIZI and singers name is HANDE YENER

  • Да можно позавидовать мужику

  • how much would this cost in USD?

  • roughly $6.74

  • are tips accepted over there or is it included?

  • For that price I would go everyday!

  • In South London UK the british barbers take a particular pride in their squalid premises and unhygenic equipment. You better believe it.

  • Every year, after arriving home in turkey, it is the first thing that i do (after a bath of course)!! i always have been to the barber ;))) haircut, shave and a 5 minute massage costs only 8 million :D

  • I wonder if Floyd the Barber gave Andy and Barney this kind of treatment ?

"Getting a little shaggy in back Andy"

  • Why can't there be services like this in the US? Here, I pay $15 for a haircut that lasts 5-10 minutes. I'm lucky if they wash my hair. There is no shave, no straight razor neck trim, no ear hair or nose hair removal, no massage, and I leave feeling all itchy from hair being carelessly allowed to fall inside my shirt. Also, I usually have to go home and trim all the hairs they missed myself. All this and I'm expected to tip them a few dollars!

  • I went to marmaris a few weeks back and had a shave - for 10 TL it was money well spent, believe me!

  • Seriously man - you're right. I think if everyone got this type of treatment in the US, i think people would be a little less stressed out...

And lets be honest - every little bit helps.

  • yea i would be less stressed if i didnt have to pay between 12-15 bucks just for a cut and not even a wash :( atleast give me a wash for that price lol business are getting to greedy and lazy

  • I can't stop thinking what if hair falls into the coffee...

  • How does the massage look when not sped up?...

  • lookin like george bush at about 7:45

  • At first I wondered what kind of a haircut he was giving the guy, but at the end I noticed the barber made him look very good. The entire treatment was great. I can't wait to visit Turkey. Everything seems wonderful, the food, the barbers etc. I've met a couple of Turkish immigrants in Canada and they impressed me a lot, very kind and gentle people. Nice video

  • WHERE??? I want this treatment when I go for a hair cut

  • Super! Makes me wish i was there. I must say though that your music selection certainly makes the video all the more interesting. Could someone make a list of all the songs used?

    that would be great thanks

  • turkiyede paran olsun kiralsin serefsizim. paranyoksa hayvandan bile degerin olmaz

  • This looks relaxing , but its by far the worst haircut ive ever seen......

  • ich gebe Dir da vollkommen recht :)

  • well, i have seen worse...

Ever thought about that person wanting a haircut like that? ^.^

  • @keithsdrinker To each his own.

  • what´s the name of the third song in this video...

It starts at ca. 6:21 ...

    thx in advance...

  • Kann ich Ihnen leider nicht mehr sagen, die Kollegin ist nicht mehr da.

  • its a turkish song by Hande Yener - Sana kirmizi cok yakisiyor....

  • Hande Yener - Kirmizi

  • Check out my favorites,i've assembled one of the best collections of these "foreign haircut/massage videos" on Youtube-only the best.

  • Yes, you have a fine collection. We have seen. - But we belong to it.

  • ich liebe diese kultur.

  • 20 bucks for a haircut and a shave?, here in Sweden i havce to pay atleast 25 bucks for only a haircut :S

  • and after all these positive comments from europeans, as a turkish i would like to say one more thing. dont forget those guys in there are muslim. and we dont bite, we are not all evil. just remember this whenever you think bad about muslims.

    peace.

    turkish.

  • Right you are, sir.

  • I am a Christian, and it is interesting how westerners never consider that there are many different sects of Islam, just as there are in Christianity. The militant faction of Christianity from the past and present likely are not true believers. Do Muslims consider the extremist faction true followers of Islam?

From my personal view Muslims generally seem to be hard working studious people. I applaud your comment.

  • Thanks for your comment chrisalternate19. People think bad about us, but in turkey , we have our own lives our own problems our families school etc. But people think, we make guns and bombs 24/ 7 thinking about killing westerner this is sad and funny at the same time. we dont care, as turkish muslims, we just live our lives and we dont have any hate agaisnt western people.

  • From the little that I have traveled around the world, people are people, and people create environments for themselves to the best of their abilities.

Even in some of the worst regions, there are plenty of men, women, and children who live faithful, and peaceful lives.

IMHO the environment just boosts/subtracts how likely one is going to go to the extremes.

  • Hmm, maybe next vacation...

  • Im from NYC and 20 bucks gets u a haircut and a fast dry shave. A wet shave on its only is at least 15..

  • Whats the best massage/ relaxing video on here?

  • in Germany it costs more

  • if you will pay the way there, so you will see 10 dollars are less. but it was very interesting :-)

  • omg 7 for everything!?Its worth it

  • that is awesomely thorough for just 7 dollars...and fun to watch =D
