One of the more realistic Jesus films. Do you have the title and maker of the film?
How can you make a film to accurately depict the King of Heaven and Earth? Evey knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) is Lord to the glory of God the Father!
Christians do not rightly understand the jewish bible! They understand it christological - out of new-testamentarian belief and church doctrine!
Christians systematically go wrong in deriving proof of messiahship of the Jesus-Godhead out of false christian hermeneutics of jewish scriptures.
(Jesus-god-man may be called a 'Christian Messiah' and it may rightly be claimed by christians, that he fulfilled the 'Christian Prophecies', though!)

The Meschiach would not have had long hair during his ministry, it would violate the Nazarite vow, as this was used as an outward sign of that vow. Yah'shua was constantly drinking wine (alcohol) and around dead people, during his ministry, and never does the Bible record him making the offerings required or shaving his head. Shauel (Paul) in 1Cor.11:14 tells us it is disgraceful for men to have long hair. Had Yah'shua or any other disciples had long hair would he have said this?
@EZ570 I see what your saying, but as for how the Messiah is suppose to be shown in this movie, for that you will need to take it up with the makers of the film. Shalom.
@EZ570 Hi EZ...The Messiah wasn't a Nazarite, he was a "Nazarine". It comes from the Hebrew word "Netzer" which means "off-shoot" or "branch". Natzeret (translated "Nazareth" in English) is a town that was formed from the off-shoot branch family of king David. No longer in power after returning from Babylonian exile, this branch family settled in Judea. Like trees often do in Israel, when the main trunk dies an off-shoot will spring up from the same root system. Christ was a "Netzer"; a branch.
the greek word for The Anointed one is Kristos (Christ in english) the hebrew word is Ha-Mashiach = The anointed one,
the name of the Son is the Savior and He Shall Save, that word is translated in the 4 gospels to whom he spoke, hebrew; Yeshua, Latin; Jesu , Greek Lesu, armenian Yeshu, wich comes from the Word Savior and he shall save, wich was later translated into ethiopian/afrikan Jesus
God does not use names as we humans do, his names are what he will do and who he is.
@Faithfull7 Some prefer to continue to use Jesus, some prefer to use Yeshua, some prefer to use Yahshua and still some prefer to use Yahusha. The main thing it's often better to say his name in Hebrew as his real name was in Hebrew, but again that's a personal preference.

@EZ570...with that said, did the messiah have long hair? I agree with you...I don't think so.

@jpmay26 I don't really think there is a perfect Jesus film. Almost all of them can and should make corrections here and there. Shalom.

Messiah means "Anointed One", not "christ".

@imseekingtruth Christ is suppose to be the Greek version of the word Messiah.
