We shot were everyone else shot at that time back in 94',95',96' .Don't think the place had a name . Just drove across the creek and it was up a fire road . It was

legal ,forest ranger inspected our weapons one time and told us not to light fires

or shoot from our vehicles .I left the navy and came back home .Don't know if it is legal now .

"up there" where??? There were always only TWO legal shooting areas up highway 33, the Ojai Valley Gun Club and Cherry Creek open shooting area. Any other place for target shooting is illegal. Hunting is another matter.
