Back in the 70's Keith and Anita were driving their newly renovated/repaired Nazi Staff car when he lost control and it rolled over. Anita was injured and broke her collarbone. They took her to St. Richards. Keith reportedly said: "an excellent name for a hospital." That accident resulted in charges against Keith including another drug charge.

@SKrizal - I don't really know or care about the Rolling Stones, but one has to admit that it was very socially responsible for him to visit and get up and speak in front of the people and media in support of St Richards H.

I'd never heard of St Richard's, i live in Manchester, but because Keith became involvled it became known nationally, and quite right to.

Of all the acheivements Keith as reached and there have been many, this is the one he should be really proud off.

Keith is indeed a rock 'n roll legend but he shows that he's still a working class hero. Rich but the heart at the 'right' place. Keep on rolling and I hope that they won't close the A&F and maternity services in Chichester. St-Richard's Hospital is a fine place!!!
