This was supposed to have been released on DVD in 2006, yet there is no sign of it anywhere. The Star TREK fans documentaries, Trekkies & Trekkies 2, on the other hand, have sold in their millions. Yet more proof that Star Wars is the poor ginger haired cousin of Star Trek.

All Trek is, is a soap opera in space. It is a bunch of grown men in tight cloths who are very dramatic and runn around with their cute little Phasors stunning people all the while the Captain is trying to sleep with every alian girl he meets. Like he wants to sleep with one from each planet! Trek=Phasors, Star Wars=Blasters! I think you need to check your documentary's. There have been quite a few Star Wars documentary and they all have been great sellers. Sooo, MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU! :)

There's a scene in the Trekkies documentary I mentioned where a Star Trek fan at work is explaining to a colleague why Star Trek is so good - the moral messages it contains, the numerous allegories and the way the best episodes leave you in deep thought. Her colleague turns round to her, scratches his head, and says: "That's why I like Star Wars, you don't have to think. It's all lasers, explosions and battles." Says it all. As does your phasers/blasters comparison. Trekkies are intelligent.

dude star wars was one of the most amazing things i've seen.. it's so crazy and its was so advanced for its time.. i just wish George Lucas and Wachowski brothers get together to make something.. like something from the Old republic maybe..

Saying Star Wars is just another film is like saying that Jesus Christ was just another man, or like saying George Lucas is just another director, Star Wars is the greatest movie on the planet, whether it be Episode I, II, III, IV, V, or VI, they are all the greatest!!
