i got this razor for $50 at a secondhand store...brand new never opened....it works great and shaves just as close as gillette proglide or schick hydro razors...and the new sensotouch 3d heads will work with the arcitec...so if you find one cheaper you can get it and buy the new hq12 3d head and basically you have the same razor for half the price as buying a new norelco sensotouch 3d razor :)

i will be geting this but the Norelco HS8420 is i think better casue its a wet an dry vis

I own this razor and it's awesome!! Electric razors are not meany to be as close a shave as straight but this one gets pretty darn close. I love how quiet it is to other electrics on the market and also it can easily shave your neck which is impossible for most electrics. Only downside is the price, I paid $200 for it but I don't regret the purchase at all!

I have a Phillishave Speed XL, and if this is anywhere near as good, its CRAP!
