It's called, "she also has a child she has to take care of or multiple things to do WHILE she's cooking..." fool. I cooked and washed dishes for 3 of the 7 hours I was standing on my feet cooking. Then I sat down, cleaned some more for another 2 hours... sat down for a few seconds after chopping some things up...and then jumped back up to cook and clean. Take into consideration the time it takes to bake, cook on stove top and mix things while cleaning at the same time.

Cooking a big dinner, even on Thanksgiving is sometimes a thankless job. kween: lol...i ain't lazy! you know how much energy it takes to eat and watch football all day? lol...and i got the baby and myself ready, and i ironed her clothes...and i stayed by 'her' family and didn't even get to see my family. we were supposed to be on a schedule...i overstayed by her people. but i did steal like five to-go plates...and a whole sweet potato pie...lol. she washing em'!

Ok first of all...lol...tell your wife to clean as she goes. And get paper plates next time. Tell her once everyone has settled down you will help her wash the dishes. I think that's only fair. I cooked everything but I can't work around dirty dishes so i just wash as i dirty them and I get people to help clean too. Happy thanksgiving. :)

It's called, "she also has a child she has to take care of or multiple things to do WHILE she's cooking..." fool. I cooked and washed dishes for 3 of the 7 hours I was standing on my feet cooking. Then I sat down, cleaned some more for another 2 hours... sat down for a few seconds after chopping some things up...and then jumped back up to cook and clean. Take into consideration the time it takes to bake, cook on stove top and mix things while cleaning at the same time.

I went by the tone of your comment. You sound angry with dejuan's wife that she didn't cook and clean at the same time, instead of empathizing with her on the fact that she did most of the cooking. Cooking a big dinner, even on Thanksgiving is sometimes a thankless job. FYI, my husband washed the midday dishes last night and my 17 year old daughter washed the after dinner dishes...that helped me out because parenting and housework is really hard to do all at once. He doesn't have that mentality where as "the woman does this, or that" and the man brings home the bacon.
