@kambing230 GLBT's are not the only ones who get bullied and consider suicide. I was bullied by several different people until I turned 12, when I decided to stand up to the jerk. But yes, they should not give up!

This song has also helped me. About 7 months ago my uncle Randal died. He was my only father figure I had. I am not that close to my actual father. He died in June I was so heart broken that I thought of suicide. I heard this song and I just remember my uncle would always say don't give up because you are loved. When I heard this song I just bawled like a baby but now I am going back to church and not giving up. I am so happy. I now know that God loves me. Thanks to Josh Groban :)

There is no way this man isn't a gift from God. This song saved me and still does everday. It gives me inspiration and makes me sing inside. I don't know how to look at this song. I've lived in a third world country, and know some of the sorts of people which I think this song is -according to the music video- addressed to. I love the song, but I can't take the words seriously. The intent is obviously good, but the words are incredibly presumptuous in stating that they know what peoples' problems are and that they can fix them. As something to empower people to bear each others' burdens, it's great. Otherwise, it's kind of laughable.

The intent is obviously good, but the words are incredibly presumptuous in stating that they know what peoples' problems are and that they can fix them. As something to empower people to bear each others' burdens, it's great. Otherwise, it's kind of laughable.

A priest played this song for a retreat at our church right before we did confession. Helped me so much, and I love this song. He reminds me that everything he says in the song, and it's all true. I only wish everyone believed it so we wouldn't have lonely people in the world.

This has got to be my favorite Josh Groban song. When I found out my mom--who was in a coma in ICU from heart problems--would soon be leaving us, I set out for a run with my iPod to deal with my emotions. This song came on as I ran and I cried, wishing my mom could hear it. People need to know they are loved and valued. Always tell your loved ones how you feel.
