Yeah, sorry, I shouldn't assume Petrol is highly flameable and with a trash scooter like that, a lot of the mixture petrol/oil/air is not burned properly, therefore it should could probably not fire all the way back right into your cylinder, and since the mixture is not supplied directly into the cilinder from the carburateur where a lot of petrol is flowing continuesly, it could never catch on fire.
