@elledelirium you never know they might play again but the tickets will be big money, when i was very young and into the skinhead scence in london a bloke came into the pub and asked if we wanted to be extras in a flim three days 30 quid a day,we jumped at it ...so thats why there a lot of skinheads in the wall but the funny thing was i didnt even like them back then
one of my favorite movies of all time, next to "Transformers: The Movie" (cartoon), and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". oh yeah, FYI, not a good part to watch when your tripping balls
theres nothing you could say negative abou this group thay were masters of music i mean ppl beethoven and mozart would be fans if thay wre alive today even if rock is not your thing you would haft to accept that what your listining to is pure genious
@MichaelWinemaster chord progressions are pretty generic tbh there a million songs that use the same chord progressions its how they are played which makes them different
@DroidNoid Firstly, Lady Gaga is talented, stop being so close minded. Secondly, when the Wall came out, there were just as many "fake" pop singers. Music has always been like it is today. Mainstream music has always been there, you need to look for the good stuff.
@sittingontherooftop Lady Gaga sings emotionless, meanlingless music to make money off masses who think they bear meaning, althought she isn't an idiot because she knows she is doing this.
@yoyoboy70 Define emotion in music, until then your point is void. And music has the meaning you give to it, there is no set "meaning". If a song tells me something different from what the singer initially meant, that doesn't make it wrong.
omg how dare someone compare floyd to that hollywood made bieber his voice hasnt even broke he,ll be a nobody in couple yrs pink floyd will be forever
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
pink floyd isnt as popular as justin bieber for a damn good reason, you people have no taste if you think slow boring music is better than even 5 secs of bieiber
not now may be but one day may be some musician as wonderful and artistic like PF will take birth and no one will be more happy than Roger Waters and mr.dave gilmour
you took the words right out of my mouth. no meatloaf pun intended.totally true ,when i hear c numb ,time, meddle at pompii, all iever hear myself say is masterpiece.you are so on the button here.
The World Wars ... perhaps the most brutal ... considering the lack of sympathy or compassion for human life. Nuclear bomb. Or soldiers/criminals being killed on the frontline like they were on death row.
@achedd lets say roger waters is 60 years old,2010 take 60 yrs off ,1950,in the wall he his about 10 yrs,so thats 1960, lets say his dad had him when he was say 20 yrs old ,so his dad was born some were around 1930,falklands war was 1982,so that puts his father at about 52yrs when you reccon he died in that war ,,,or do you think he died in ww2 by a stukka dive bomber ,when he was 30

There should totally be an ice skating routine to this song. It's a double pun, because you could say it was by Rink Floyd.
