  • So just doing quarter notes is just .... 1 2 3 4...thats it?

  • only have practice pads atm so this is pretty much the only thing i do atm but hell once i get my kit I will atleast play tight and if you cant do that as drummer you are useless in a band...

  • Jared, where is your DW drums? =(

  • @MrXBJonte They are coming back into the studio soon. This is just another kit of mine I wanted to use in a few videos. Personally, I prefer my DW's, but it's nice to try these out rather then just let them sit in storage.

  • He always has the greatest shirts..

  • @SuperCoolDomino You can buy the same ones...Just Google "Snorgtees"

  • a tip for for guys (which really helped me a lot):

when you're playing to a metronom and you have the feeling you don't hear the metronom. you're perfekt in time. This really confused me at the beginning. but if it happens... you know you have it done perfekt :D

  • @dropdeadSander Hehe,i know what you mean,i remember when i played with metronome just on the chair with sticks and i was playing perfectly in time that i tought that i make the metronome sounds

  • @dropdeadSander EXACTLY! Read this tip everyone! ^^^^^^^

  • Hey jared why at the end of whatever your playing you play beat 1 of the beginning mesure is their a reson why u do that or is it just what your supose to do?

  • @CPMFH In music theory you start count from the 1 there is no 0 so theoretically by the time you complete a measure you should already be playing the first note of the next measure. It's not really necessary to play that note but for a drummer it's feels natural to play it anyways, for example, most fills in context run threw all 4 counts but use the crash as a naturally accented note, and that note is count 1 on the next measure.

  • @molomono Oh! thanks man now i know

  • hey jared will u be gradually giving lessons on westers staff notations too?and thanks for your videos :)

  • @akkidrummer Yes, we will continue building our drum theory lessons as well.
