  • I loved the background music."I'm wild again etc etc ---bothered and bewildered am I!Can remember the words of this old tune but cannot remember the words to any current hits!

  • TO THOSE ASKING FOR THE NAME OF THE FIRST SONG:

It's "I've Heard That Song Before", by Harry James Orchestra. It's on the soundtrack for the movie, which may be out of print, but eBay or somwhere, you could probably find. I LOOOOOOOVE this move and the music!

  • damn barbara hershey used to be really hot

  • This is one hell of a movie! Beautifully acted and directed. The only thing that gets on my nerves with Woody Allen movies is that all his female characters are spoiled, upper class New Yorkers. They do hardly anything, and always seem to have money. Everything is so natural in his movies, and yet that is so unrealistic (or realistic but a cliche). They are able to stress over little things b/c they aren't worrying about employment, money, family, kids, etc...

  • great movie better than ANnie hall

  • this film was a masterpiece

  • Does anyone has this version of Bewitched Bothered, and Bewildered for download??

  • imho this is one of the most beautiful scenes in the whole history of the movies.

  • What the hell is the song playing in the bookstore scene? It's piano, and I've been looking everywhere - anyone know what it's called? Please :(

  • "Bewitched " is the song.

    (bewitched, bothered, and bewildered...)

  • @susiepohl yeah, the second one is "Bewitched", but what's the name of the first song???

  • @MrNyenyere I've Heard That Song Before

  • @FM1967 n do you know whats the name of this song? guys, its soo lame, I cant find this ***ing song... :(

  • @cleopatraclone i ´ve looking everywhere and i can´t find the name of this song :(

  • I read a poem of you and thought of his last week

  • E.E. Cummings, no less. What beauty. One of my favorite scenes is where Max von Sydow ( Frederick ) telles his girlsfriend Lee ( Barbara Hershey ) about a television program he had been watching:

"You just missed a very dull TV show on Auschwitz......". Haha, or the scene where Frederick refuses to sell his work "by the yard" to a nouveau riche rock star who "just bought a huge house in Southampton". Bergmanesque world of western art music and depressing entertainment. Brilliant!

  • I love this scene. Does anybody know if I can find the scene on YouTube where Michael Caine has just realized that Lee is also atracted to him - and he says something like "I'm walking on air"? It's been years since I saw the movie, but I really long to see that particular scene! Fantastic movie.

  • does anhyone have msn!!! msg me my msn live id is jane22fall 1

  • I love Michael Caine in Hannah and Her Sisters. I love how Woody Allen captures the heart of the cities he is in with his films. New York City is a big city, and he still manages to capture all its nuances.

  • Pageant Book and Print is no longer there. As a student at NYU, I used to peruse the aisles of this iconic bookstore. Whenever I watch this, I feel a wave of melancholy and sweet longing. Thank you Woody for preserving it on film.

  • I live in Chicago. We lost a beloved book shop in my neighborhood. It's like losing part of the universe. The world gets a little smaller and they put in a Starbucks in its place!

  • My absolute favorite Woody Allen film. Perfection!

  • One of the most lovable films I've ever seen. Woody has made many great films, including the recent masterpiece "Match Point" - but this one's his most heart-warming and emotional. The whole cast is superb and the direction and humor is refreshing and real. A movie that has everything. A perfect film.

  • Apparently this store no longer exists in the mortal realm but "went virtual." Too bad.

  • i love this scene. fantastic!

  • Woody at his very best certainly!Perfect casting, perfect script. Shame about the sound quality on this clip.

  • I love this movie, is perfect, my favourite

  • Best Woody Allen movie ever

  • Tan perfecto...

  • thank you so much for posting this, i love woody allen, this movie, this actor, EE Cummings. was lucky today!!!

  • Michael Caine at his awkward best and all other actor performances make this a film gem.

  • actually, this poem, "somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond" is on p.366 of the collected poems of e.e. cummings
