Charlies personality compliments Reeces and vice versa. Theres a kind of deference to each other yet both have such strong character. They seem to both have a nature that contradicts the other but they just mesh together so well! If the relationship was to develop romantically the dynamic of the show wouldn't be affected, as nothing beyond partnership has really been hinted through the storylines. This conclusion can only be put down to the over-active imagination of hopeless romantics.
