  • Wow thats awsome how much would something like this cost?

  • What kind of filtration are you using for the KOI? How long will they be in there?

  • awsm frnd and i hav a questn is it nesecary to put oxygen system for koi in pond

  • This looks great, i would watch this and not tv, mine seem happy outside

  • some nice fish you got there... worth quite a lot when they get older i bet.

  • Could you private message me and give me a little more details about how your husband built this? We have an outdoor koi pond and live in IA, and this winter was really harsh... we had two heaters and an airstone but unfortunately we had some fish die so we've decided that next winter we want to bring them in... and I think this looks like just the thing we need.

  • That is true, they would stand out better with black gravel. Wish I would have thought of that! I wouldn't take away the gravel though, as they really like moving the gravel around. They take in a mouthful and spit it back out.

  • do you think it would be better if you use an all black gravel?or you can take away the gravel so the kois will stand-out and there colors much appreciated

  • Altogether with materials and filters, a few hundred bucks

  • this whole entire pond just costs a few hundred bucks??!?!?!

  • i want to make one and put sharks in it ha ha.

  • Hah, now that would be cool...a shark tank! :-)

  • haha. how much did it cost to make?

  • @justinwwwalin and my mother in law also please

  • It is a standard pond liner that was placed inside the wooden frame that my husband and his friend built.

  • how wide is it? and how long? i would like to build one thankyou, jeff.

  • It is 4' x 8' with 38" water depth

  • Thankyou, do you wish it was any longer? i might go 12feet long.....

and how deep is it? i would like to build one. thankyou in advance

  • that's awsome, they look so happy. Great indoor pond, much safer than outside...
