I'm a christian, and I'd rather listen to stuff with good lyrics, but I don't like the sound of a lot of artists. I realize that they are talented people, but I like other styles better. It's simply a matter of preference.

I LOVE this song! It speaks the truth... hearing the song on the radio, you'd want to buy the album. It's not the song but the video that's troubling me. They tried so much to look like the world that it breaks my heart. What good is it to "praise" God with your lips, IF your heart is FAR from Him? In Amos 5:23 God told religious hypocrites "Take the noise of your songs away from me! I won't listen to the music of your harps. "

I am not judging, but discerning what I see in this video. This is not of the Lord, I can tell you that. The women aren't fully dressed, I get no inclination of praise, and they are partying rather than praising. I'm a christian, and I'd rather listen to stuff with good lyrics, but I don't like the sound of a lot of artists. I realize that they are talented people, but I like other styles better. It's simply a matter of preference.
I do agree that this video is slightly disturbing, but the style itself is not the problem. They're praising God, and they've chosen this style, because that's what they like. The Lord loves music, who's to say he doesn't like this stuff too?

I'm giving up taking people's word 4 it w/out finding the truth 4 myself. I do believe there r things that God considers acceptable. Does that involve the types of clothes or music? People have to realize okay the clothes are flashy , but listen to the music and really understand the message they are sending. Why is it if someone doesn't agree to with the way they dress it's judging, Christians can have opinions and are supposed to hold one another accountable. The Bible speaks very clearly on the way women are to dress and it's not this way. Seems like your problem is not with me or anyone else on here who disagrees with the way they dress, your problem is with the Bible.

Honestly I didnt a problem the message that they're sending out is right why trip. We are suppose let people in the church no matter how they look or act, the bible say come as you are so we as christians should just accept everyone as they are. Last time I checked not every woman that praises the lord wear long skirts,blouses & big hats. I say we lay off of them because they are obviously trying 2 appeal 2 a younger audience that are blinded by things in the world. Lets not be so judgemental!!!

I think a lot of you Bible thumpers are seriously confused. I don't think this music intended for people like you who are so "not of the world". I think their purpose and ultimate goal is to bring the rest of the "wordly" people to Jesus. The WORLD needs Jesus just as desperately as you all who HAVE Him. If they had on Sunday dresses and sang old ass hymns all day, you'd all be satisfied, but the world would be like "turn this shit off". I'm not a devout Christian yet I sing the words to this.

I LOVE this song! It speaks the truth... hearing the song on the radio, you'd want to buy the album. It's not the song but the video that's troubling me. They tried so much to look like the world that it breaks my heart. As a youth minister and church dance leader, it's hard enough trying to influence the girls positively without gosel artists looking like they just stepped out the club.

This song doesn't take God or Christians "out of the box." It misrepresents who God really is (HOLY & separate from worldliness). And it makes Christians look like pathetic unoriginal copycats, who can't come up with anything NEW, so they imitate the world. If you mute this video & just watch the images, it looks NO different than a Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, or Lady GaGa video. This song/video is galaxies away from the Gospel.

@sdadime- Holiness is not about clothes... It's about a mindset to follow God's word and being transformed from within. As for going to church, the goal is to hear the word and do it once you leave. God did not label clothes as church clothes. Man did that.

@sdadime Honestly, after seeing this so many times, I must agree with you. The song is inspiring and groovy, but the video is degrading, worldly, and void of upliftment. I am not judging, but discerning what I see in this video. This is not of the Lord, I can tell you that. The women aren't fully dressed, I get no inclination of praise, and they are partying rather than praising. Idk what is up with Trin-i-tee 5:7, but they need to get back to the Cross, and impact others through soulful gospel!
