its pretty tragic to see what happened to Adam Ant. (Stuart Goddard) He got a lot of stick in the 80's over his sexuality as did other members of the band which didnt help and if I remember correctly he got in trouble over a having a firearm in a club in the 90's and sadly it was just another step down for him. However he left us with a timeless and unique sound.

More than anything else, I think that Adam's story came to a good end. He's still alive, but now a lot of the stuff he was dealing with in the 80s (sex addiction, eating disorders, untreated manic depression) are under control at last and he's healthy and happy and that's the most important thing. Yeah, he lost it for a little while, there, but that's what happens when you leave stuff untreated. And he had it going on more than ANY other group does today.  There was no one else like him <3

I was officially diagnosed by a specialist when I was 33, but my Psych and I tracked it back to age 12. But that's not saying I wasn't born with it, it just started to manifest itself at that age. Then it just got progressively worse from there. You're correct in saying you don't suddenly become Bipolar. Imagine living with it all of those years not knowing what the hell is wrong with you. The upside is that I'm very creative like many Bipolars are.
