well, i turned the toilet into a passive solar unit to provide extra warmth to the house, i also added a heat lamp though for when it gets really cold. the toilet raised the temp roughly 10 degrees on the sunny days. i have since removed the toilet because of some unrelated damage that occurred though.
well, it also gave me practice at building with cob, and got me in the newspaper a couple times. it is a lot of work, but i hope to build a home for myself with the same basic materials.
what a lovely thing to do.

What type of paint did you use? Is there a special type of paint that is used for cob?

Clever, but explain the toilet, because I thought initially it would be for the cats to drink out of and then you covered it with cob?
