Engelbert is extraordinary as an entertainer. What a great sense of humor and such a fantastic voice even after all of these years. They don't make them like him anymore. Johnny Mathis is still a master on stage and with his great voice. Tom Jones is also doing great. It will be a sad day when these great performers from the 1950's and '60's stop performing.
Is this the real title to this song? I have been trying to look for this everywhere but I cant seem to find it. Can someone please tell me where I can find this song. Thanks
Yes, I believe the original was sung by country artist Eddy Arnold but has also been recorded by Ray Charles and Willie Nelson on his album named The Songs of Cindy Walker, by Willie Nelson... Beautiful song, isn't it! I am not sure if Engebert has actually recorded it yet but is not, he certainly should!!!!! I hope that helps ....
My God! I would be in place this fan! It would be best of my happiness to see Engelbert singing to me, looking in my eyes! I loved this video clip! Congratulations!
Thanks for this - my wife and I were at the Glasgow concert on the 9th (the day after this video) and this clip reminds me of when Engelbert did this song - he's a great entertainer!
Humpy rules!!He's still truly the best. I wanted to buy tickets for that performance but a was not able to leave my duties in Spain. It's a shame. Thanks for posting!!
