i hand bent the rim, hook bracket, and tension hoop, all to fit each other. I know its not the best way to do it and by no means perfect... but thats what i had.
Nice banjo. I like the "primitive" sound of it (IMO, at least). I've been progressively trying to get my banjo to sound a little less manufactured, more primitive / old-school like that.
Also, really nice clucking at 1:07. I can't figure out how to do the cluck.
Very similar to some old 1800s banjos. Really cool man.

How was the rim formed? Ring roller, cut from pipe or bent by hand?
