This is a good video, but apparently most arms aren't from international arms dealers, and a large percentage of them are transferred gradually across borders, since guns aren't an item you just use up, like drugs or other things.

No your missing the point. I'm not talking about each bullet but each case. You can easily obtain a gun at a gun show and easily gain bullets at a gun shop. What I want (since the 7-day waiting period to get a gun is banned) is a 7-day waiting period for ammunition.

People will still slip through the cracks in the law. In addition to that, there's equipment (some of which is inexpensive) which is sold to be used for making ammo. This is entirely legal. I own some and I make my own ammo. Some people who make ammo would be willing to sell it to others who can't wait the seven days, and considering my financial state due to this wasteland that we call an economy, I would sell what I make and wouldn't blame anyone else for doing it either.
