Safe to say that if your using cell phones, live close to a cell tower, television radio transmissions.. your contacting substantial electromagnetic radiation, microwaves..etc Your chances of developing leukemia / brain cancer quadruple...1 in 2 or 50% of people are developing cancer now..Time to kill the cell phones and smart meters.

@zaraki888 HI, the SIEMENS AS285 is an eco dect phone. Set the ECO DECT and the ECO DECT PLUS modes on and it's base station will emit RF EMR only when someone is using the phone.

Sunlight and RF are very different. Both sunlight and RF have a health effect and a health risk. As there are people how are extremely sensitive to sunlight, some people are extremely sensitive to RF or other types or EMR.

It is very simple to understand and to know if it happens to you. People place a DECT phone next to their bedside and several month later they start getting headaches and migrants. They remove the DECT phone and a week later they are fine. I saw it happen. Similar things happens to me every day when I get exposed to Electromagnetic Radiation without me knowing about it , and few seconds later I can feel the pain.

I was hoping the /sarcasm would have been obvious enough. Nobody is going to have these devices that close to them to be affected in a harmful way. I mean, the sun and space are deadly forms of radiation. Our atmosphere and magnetic polls protect us from them a bit, but not 100%. I don't plan on living to be 3,000 years old.

I know people who did, I know people who still put these devices near their bed side.

My best friend put in on his working station and don't want to move it. His mother used to keep it next to her bed side and had a 7 year long headache (disappeared one week after the DECT was removed).

Every cordless phone will emit EMR on while talking on it. Some cordless phones (like DECT phones) will emit EMR from their base station all the time, even when not talking.

My advice is, if you really need a cordless phone, is to install a wired phone in every room and then add a non DECT or an ECO DECT PLUS phone which you can use when you need to walk around the house and which does not emit EMR from the base station all the time.

Siemens have some phones like that.

some of the parts in a PC emit low frequency radiation. If your PC has a wireless internet connection then it also emits high frequency radiation (similare to the kind a DECT Phone emits).

as far as i Know DECT phones emit more radiation then a PC with a wireless net card.

The radiation levels that you are exposed to are depended on the strength of the signal and the distance between you and the source.

A part of wireless radiation, a PC has a very strong low freequencey electromagnetic radiation, especially from the power supply. Don't put you PC case neer your body, and avoid puting a laptops on your legs. Laptops are more dangeres, as your head is just above the unit, even the power supply is external.

Don't put any clock or radio that is connected to the wall, near you bad. Don't aleep with you head near electric sucket, wires (also in wall), and plugs connected to them.

there used to be such "seals" to put over old CRT screen.

Today LCD screens emit very small levels of EMR so I don't think it is needed.

Just keep you WIFI off and keep at least one meter from the PC.

I think that "radiation" is a generic name for all kinds of energy waves.

It fails to conclusively find any type of scientific results or correlation of DECT radiation vs human health. In real world operation, DECT phones operate at 1/24th the peak transmission output. As benign as holding a weak flashlight to your head.
