Nice story, however, one flaw. Steve would never, even in jest, say he hated one of his songs. He stated his songs were 'his children'. Who, even in jest, would say they hate their child? The story would have been more believable had the 'voice in the crowd' exclaimed "I love that song!" Just my thoughts.

True story.....my son was working the espresso bar at Starbucks in Los Angeles. With his back to the crowd, he broke out in "Open Arms." A voice from the crowd exclaimed, "I hate that song!" My son turned around, and there stood Steve Perry with a grin on his face. My son said one of these days he'll summon the courage to tell Steve Perry, "You're the only man my mother would leave my father for." ll

I'm fortunate to have been there to be at and hear the early 80's tours and buy the records ... Journey and Steve Perry were HUGE and filled the Rose Bowl in LA as the headliner! It's not the same with this Arnel guy. Journey no longer puts out great nre music. They no longer fill stadiums or sell millions of records like this song. Give this a thumbs up if you still have your Journey vinyl records! My are well worn!
