I made a biger city!!!In my city there was 60 k people and in the region 98 k people.I made a lot of trade routes...after 30 sec i was left out of fish.I had 999 tons of fish then after 30 sec 'your suplies are running short'...And i dont want to talk about my army...I was playing Imperator.Too bad because my stupid computer is full of viruses so i have to deleted windows and instal them again and all of my files GONE!!!!!And by the way i was playing eight or nine hours...Anno is a great game!!!

@ShonEpfc you need to build more number of houses. so you can collect tax. ie. more no of houses = more richer you get.

The easiest is Anno 1701, second 1602, third 1404. The hardest is 1503.

Anno 1602 is only difficult in the first hour, then it is laughable easy and boring. Anno 1404 is the other way round. It is the only Anno where the start is easier than the end.

1503 is very hard in the early game than becomes a bit easier but stays hard.

The blurr (DOV) doesnt add to the "realness" of the game, it makes it look like a miniature city...(ask any (stop-motion) animator, it's the first thing you eliminate when you want to make it look "real world" scale)

raise taxes... this is the easiest game of this series so far... 1602 was fucking HARD compared to this :)

make a shitload of peasent shacks (make sure u have enough food to support them...) and then raise taxes to just under where theyll move out (until you want to upgrade to citizens, after you have a good income)

yes, if you need more money you can fill some unused island with low lvl houses and fisher huts and then put their tax to yellow.

Wooden bridges are built when you use dirt roads, and aren't re-made when you repave with stone. So you have to delete the road THEN repave.

I over look it so often, I wish it would be fixed. And some of the scenery objects, some have a space of grass between the object and the roads. Very annoying.

How did you do this? I mean, I only see one church, in the middle of a bunch of Noble Houses, but still you got over 10000 Patricians! How is that possible? Would really love to see a small guide on how to make such a big city. With screenshots and stuff. 'cause this is really well done.

I've build that step by step!

Made a most, wood and stone suppy on a 2nd island.

Made it to be able to build a toolmaker.

Then filled ~3/4 of the island with peasant houses, left ~1/3 for oriental housing and added masses of fisherhuts.

After that on any house update I made sure more goods than needed were produced. Thats it :D

Impressive. Would have been jaw-dropping had you a Cathedral/Sultan's Mosque on the island.

I have 11k on one island, but it isn't full and I don't think I'll work towards over 20k. I have both a cathedral and a Sultan's mosque going up so I guess that's my crowning moment in this map.
