an easy way to get to command prompt (because this dumbass seems to think people can get to CMD from start when logged onto their schools Server.... make a notepad doc. then type

command.com

save as *name*.bat *the name makes no differnce* its the .bat that matters. (my school uses batch files in its monitoring so fortunatley the limited users can run them too)

then close the notepad and open youre new .bat file.

You can only do this from an administrator account. People do these tutorials at home and don't realize that... if you're a standard user, it will say "access denied" because standard users cannot change Administrator passwords.

@shredtillyouredead1 if ur on a mac there is no CMD but if ur on PC it is likely that CMD is hidden from you so that stuff like this doesnt work... but there is a way to find it... go to start--> search and type on CMD and see if it comes up

I barely see how this is hacking, it's just merely changing the password of the administrator account on the computer via the command prompt isn't it?

And trying to change the administrator password would require administrative privileges, hence why you get the System 5 Error and what not.

I remember there is a way to manually change the default administrator's password via the BIOS thing, but sadly my school's disabled that option on the computers...

try going to the start menu, type in the search bar "run", hit enter then type "lusrmgr.msc" and hit enter. next open the folder called "users" it should be above "groups" find the account called "administrator", right click and choose set "password". enter any password you want. then right click again, and choose "rename" and call it anything you want. log out of your account and use the new username and password. done

@jcoffee180 it wont fuck up anything it is simply just remaning the username and password, if your school techies do find out you have got two options: 1 play dumb and say i didnt know i shouldnt have done this, or 2 tell them the accounts should have better protection and you were simply just checking how secure the school system is. i did this to mine in year 10 and they found out in year 11 after i went and told them i needed a new windows key, all the did was say dont do it again.

For 1: This is not hacking as it is part of Windows, and can be done on any computer.

2nd: Error 5 is because You need to be administrator to run Cmd in administrator mode for the shell command to work

If you have the other admin account than you can reset the main administrator password. If you don't have the other admin account than you can use the reset disk.

If you don't have the reset disk than you can use software called Password Resetter. The Main Purpose of this software is to remove windows password. You can get the software from
