  • Respect the GRIND

  • omg the last rally bogomolov had several possibilties to end the point with a volley

  • 1:00 finally the longline Ball which i expected half an hour earlier^^

  • bogomolov needs to come to the net more

  • TOO defensive both of them. but still a good video

  • good tennis, hard work...but not so many winners. and that's why these guys are not that high in the ranking.

  • @dagoebam no its beacues the don´t play with a high tempo like taking the ball erlier

  • It's real noisy there...

  • Devvarman is great at running down shots. Seen this time and again.

  • SO MUCH GRINDING

  • That rally towards the end was insane! People are gonna say they are pushes and they suck and what not but try h...aving a 30 plus shot rally and see how well you do..

  • Damn Bogo had Devvarman running from corner to coner :)

  • Murray vs Devvaram is going to be a bore fest at the US Open Round 1 neither go for winners could be a long match.

  • @hifrohenry He pushed nadal because he doesn't put anything on the ball so Nadal had nothing to roll against. Not having pace won't bother Agassi. Even with his back problems, and perhaps not being in as great of shape. Devvarman would still lose.

  • @debokle That Agassi, even with back problems, will always beat Devvarman is something I am extremely doubtful about. Needless to mention, you are entitled to that opinion. Even in his prime, Agassi lost to retrievers and counterpunchers like Hewitt and Chang, same style as Devvarman. But all we can do with this matchup is to speculate, sadly.

  • so does devvaram ever go for winners or what?

  • are these points long or what?

  • i wish Agassi could have played Devvarman. I wonder how Devvarman's speed would match up against Agassi's clean-struck and early-hit balls.

  • @hifromhenry so one of the greatest ever vs a guy who (I think) has never been ranked inside the top 50? It would be nice to see devvarman get destroyed. In fact, if they played today Agassi would still probably win. Sampras definitely would.

  • @debokle Devvarman gave Nadal a run for his money at Indial Wells early this year. That says something about him. I don't think Agassi will probably win against Devvarman today, with all his back problems. I agree that Sampras has a better chance.

  • great video!

  • Bogomolov should have won many of the points he lost by just following in the short balls. When a player is as physically gifted with speed, as Devvarman is, take away his biggest asset.. the time he has to get to the ball. Not strategically sound play by Bogomolov. Extremely smart by Devvarman to remain calm and keep grinding the points out.

  • Great coverage by devvarman, no question. However, why is Bogomolov allowing somdev to chase so many balls down? He shouldnt be wasting his time hitting so many shots from then baseline when he clearly has numerous chances to finish the point at the net. If you notice in the rallies, Bogomolov has about 3, 4 sometimes even 5 short ball attacking opportunities he should have followed and finished the point off at the net. Not very strategically smart, and surprising for a player at this level

  • devvarman is pride of india. huge somdev fan. thnx for the upload

  • thanks for putting this up...another big devvarman fan...glad that hes gonna be in the top hundred on monday

  • wow, devvermans court coverage is incredible!

  • That guy is way too fast

  • Thanks for posting this. I'm a big fan of Devvarman. There were some incredible points you captured!

  • @calbears93 yes this video is great ! Big battle, very tactical.
