He could have just as easily been sitting there watching for speeders, when this man was stopped. The third could be the patrol supervisor on duty, and came ensure the others were doing their job right. We don't see them try to stop him from taking off. They could have easily decided to follow him home to make sure he didn't get hurt and provided him an escort.
Looks to me like the officers are being very professional and polite with the man, I don't understand why this video was even posted, except maybe to incite some very juvenile expressions from people who have nothing better to do with their time than to disrespect some outstanding officers of the law. This is not big deal. The guy was on the street. The cops probably just asked him to take his scooter on the sidewalk for his own protection. We have a ton of these scooter people where i live. Always darting in and out of traffic. Sure enough, one recently was mowed down and killed. Not a great to end a life when your 85.

Yeah they SPED after him, your a fucking retard, this happens all the time(maybe not with three cop cars), the guy has either escaped a mental hospital or left an old people's home, the police are called in to make sure he doesn't hurt himself on the road. The police were quite nice the whole time.
