you're level 99!? how can you have the balls to post this, at that level which im sure sucked way more time out of your life then you should of let it, and say 'its possible' well fuck of course it is if your defense alone can survive its normal attack, you just hit it, heal, repeat, but at level 45-60 where most people wind up, its not happening, not easily at least...

super combo pawns triple blow. i understand garr's mp sucks, but what could have been done was give him shadowwalk, rei then has super combo and aura on ryu. that would have made the fight faster. it's possible to kill berserkers without using mp at all, a 700 pwr rating on all your 3 characters fighting him would do that.

@SVWillmer I defeated the game at lv35 being the highest level character (Ryu). It's doable without transforming. Strategy and proper use of skills make this game a sinch. However, the reason people complain here is that this user says "It is possible to beat him without transforming", which is kind of redundant to say when you are at level 99. Also, I have defeated the berserker at those levels without transforming. Sadly I couldnt do it with the archmage (well, not yet)

@twintowerxx Not sure on the berserker, but if I recall the archmage has either 3000 hp or 3500. The problem with the archmage is not the damage he deals, but the absurd health regeneration he has (1500 per turn!). In other words.. you need to deal over 1500dmg to counter the hp regeneration, or go for the instant-killing blow of 3000+ dmg. Which is doable.

Berserker: Robot with the ridiculous physical attacks and the self-berserk casting (without dying from berserk)

You learn it from a fairy called "Meryleep" in a place called Faerie Woods in Eastern Windia. You have to knock this rock in the water as Adult-Ryu with Peco. You need to have "Flower Jewel" or she won't train you. She's good for the +2 AGL. Once you train with her for 5 lvls, she teaches you "shadowwalk", train for 8 lvls and she teaches you "War Shout" which raises the party ATK

I restarted a game on my emulator and I got the Shaman's Ring and Spirit Ring.

Shaman = 25% AP reduction

Spirit = 50% AP reduction

H'es def got Spirit; Aura is 20 AP base -> 10 AP with Spirit.

O.o i'm actually replaying through the game now, and i'm level 41: ryu, rei, and peco...i can't see how his level 99 ryu hits for only 1000...if he didn't put the stats in power...and he doesn't have the hp or ap...what is it all in...if it's agi(based on d'lonzo) then this guy trained poorly...my stats are pretty much equal to his and i'm only level 41...

I call BS on lvl 35 in chain formation. Defensive maybe, but chain formation gives a minus 50% to defense. The berserker would auto kill any party member of yours in a single hit. You would have had to spent endless hours with cheaty items like stat boosters, major master managing, hourglasses, and a lot of luck to achieve that.

has to do with what masters you choose how many life shards you use (steal them from goo titan ftw) and all kinds of stuff this guy probably went for enormous power with low hp =P

actually it doesnt make much of a difference at lv50 or lv99. Since the stats you gain from the remaining 50 levels are like crap. Unless you make Ladon as your master from 50-99, you will have an extra 100 atk,def,int,spd.

by lv 99 you can have pilfered and used the fairies to make your characters ridiculus. i maxed out garrs strenght by like lv 45 by stealing something from one of the goblins and using the faries to dupe. at 99 all stats can be max. the stats you gain by leveling are mininmal but in all that time you can easily max out everyting

normally the berserker kills in a single hit (or almost). for normal chars (read: the average player) this bastard is, aside of the Goo king and the Archmage, a pretty tough nut to crack.

Like with your archmage video this is far from impressive. Come on, at level 99 you are more or less supposed to beat this guy without a real strategy. Yes it is "proof" that he can be defeated at lv99 without weretiger etc. But it's the same as saying you can kill an eye goo at level 10 with a single hit.

well the nicesest thing the guy do is to fight a berserker with low lvl and low attack :o my ryu has 500 hp and if he is a mammoth he has 2000 crazy damage when he use meteor strike and garr has lots of hp but when you train peco well he has more as garr and then you still have the masters you train on the stats :)

Best way to buff character power---> go and steal power food for orange goblin (hes always teamed with a purple master). In this way i reached 999 str on ryu, rei and garr ;]

Defense with vulcans and Int with the faries, put them in Gifts, fight seven time and turn back and get the gifts...power you can get with NightBat too, do what you prefer...xD

It "doesn't" need to know how to fight, you only need your characteres in "Charge Mode" and that's it...very easy way to kill him :), I do this always, xD

It is possible at level 50, I have done it. Sheild and Warshout work well. Then follow it up with some powerful attack maguc and he's gone. No need to transform Ryu or Rei. Just attacking, it's that simple.

you can do it at any level, just keep farming life shards and power foods, if you have enough of those, you can kill him. or you can just keep using the hour glass item. bof3 is ultimately based on math.
