  • I was 13 when this came out .. seen it at the theater when it first premiered, i give this movie & soundtrack much love .. but theres one mix i wish they would have released as a full legth 12" or an edit for something to work from, that mix was at the house party & the burning spear when double k mixed ... play that beat/globe & whiz kid with looking for the perfect beat/soulsonic force .. shame noone has that mix yet.

  • I'm a big fan of psichedelia and pop from 60. But I also adore this song It's amazing and full of a strange energy. Long life to break dance!!!

  • Not Herbie Handcock.... he did Rock it.

  • REAL music!!

  • Hip Hop is not just about the music, Hip Hop is the whole package, its the music the graffiti the breakin and poppin and the clothes, Hip Hop is a culture it was a way of life for many back in the late 70s and early 80s.

Hip Hop today is not Hip Hop, its commercialised crap that has nicked the term Hip Hop to describe the so called genre and to make it sound cool to appeal to the masses.

  • This sounds like Herbie Hancock.

  • @LLJtbone Herbie Hancock was influenced by early hiphop and made Rocket.

  • this is the movie that got me into art. music and expressing myself

  • todays rappers (if that's what you want to call them) have no imganination. they sing and singing is what they do not rappin', about an imagination life. do you really think lil wayne would actually have those hot women all over his ugly ass if thjey weren't on camera with him?

  • oh man, I have such dope memories from this, classic Hip Hop.

  • My favourite dj Faber Cucchetti in the 80's used to play this song in the best roman disco: the Much More! It sounds still good!

  • @zareh77 hi in my opinion hiphop has never been wack , its rap that is wack. if they just shut up and let hip hop its all good , but the version o f this song is not the full length in the original there is a rap it goes
