I was never a huge fan of fusion, but even so, my motto has always been, "never say never." It's important to always keep an mind open as you never know what you just might miss out on if you on see things in one way or in black n white. In saying that, I really enjoyed this clip. Nice musical and concept and great sound. I remember Dan Gilbert being a pretty cool teacher and player, back when I was a student at MI. Good times. Peace.
Dan is one greatest guitar player and teacher in MI. He did not play out much so nobody really know him except GIT guy go to level 3 class. He is true master of many styles.
I remember this was going on while I was in his level 3A classes! :D Dan you rock! Thanks for making me an awesome rhythm guitar player! This concert was awesome to watch in person!
Hopefully Ferrante is always smiling... because the guitar player was all over the place... and lucky for him he was playing the head with the piano!!!
Hey man. think you might have been tryin' a little too hard... but your playing sounds great as always... i know what you were going for. did you ever check out the Matchless seminar we did a while back? you were playing my Les Paul through one of the amps on the stage... the tone was killin'!!! ;-)

This is just great, Dan! I was just listening to "Mr. Invisible" and "The Monsters are Here" the other day, by the way.
It was so great to hang out with you and all the other great GIT teachers in 1986 - 1987.
