  • That sounds like Candi Milo singing the theme song.

  • I cry every time I think of how good movies, television, music and fashion were back in the 80s and how everything today is shit. Man I miss this show.

  • I used to try to stay up and watch this in New York. It came on a 2am. My mom would tell me to go to sleep but I would peek out from under the cover. Loved this show back then.

  • This is a nice show.

    I miss the 80's.

  • Does anyone have an upload for the show when Madame's friend Bobbi Tremayne (former Whoopee girl) comes to town. They end up performing "There's got to be a Tuba in the band"......

  • WOW! I don't remember much about the show, but the opening I remember clearly after seeing this. Thank you for posting a happy memory!

  • holy shit *LOL* i totally forgot Corey Feldman was on this show!!!

  • How could I ever forget this?

  • How could I have forgotten?

  • My devotion to this show at age eight should have made obvious to my parents that I wasn't straight!

  • This was totally hilarious show of the 80s I seem to remember Madem's Place was On U.S.A.Network i was 17 years at that time ! I love her sense humour and you dont see puppetry like than around anymore!

  • this is by far the Wackest thing i've seen all day and i've only seen 7 seconds into it.

  • i loved this show. i wish there were episodes of it on youtube or even rerun on tv. it was a treasure to watch

  • i'd love to get full episodes? where can i get them? thanks

  • looks a like a gay version of the muppet show..

  • Frightening.

  • how many epsoide did they make

  • Brings back some great memories! Great supporting cast!!

  • Seargent Zale from M*A*S*H as the butler, Corey Feldman, this was the absolute funniest.

  • THAT IS SGT. ZALE !!!

  • It also surprised me to see him go from M*A*S*H* to playing a butler.

  • I luv this show!!!!Makes me smile!

  • i used to watch this with my grandma way back when. god i feel old. lol

  • OMG so did i. i used to spend the night on the weekends and watch this and the kick ass early 80's SNL.

  • another creepy puppet show was d.c. follies, i've been watching a lot of these classic intros and am starting to realize why i'm so fucked up

  • Lol, this looks like a funny show and I would have loved to have seen some episodes, especially now Mademe made her big comeback in Atlantic City

  • No one believe me ! ! ! I told all my friends about this show. Now I got proof ! ! !

  • TOOO FUNNY!!!!

  • I remember the puppet from the 70s on standups but they made a show ? OMG Corey Feldman and that Landers gal? So thats why they were stars!

  • Back when this was on, we used to have a ball lighting up a joint and laughing at this zany show!

  • this show was just simply FUNNY !!!

personally, I think Madam and Joan Rivers look like twins now days.

  • I use to watch this with my grandmother back in the day

  • love this!!!!!

  • Its a scary concept, but the show is pretty entertaining.

  • Loved this show. I had taken a break from school and came out to Califronia on Vacation where Waylon and Madme Billboards were up and down Sunset Blvd. - they were such a draw in Las Vegas at the time. Madame was funny as all heck and very much censored for the TV show. I miss Waylon and Madame - great act in the 80's. Thanks for posting!

  • My sister and cousins and I used to stay up extra late in teh summer to watch this. I wont ever forget it. We danced to the theme song like it was on the radio. ANd we loved when Madame would fall out. However looking at it now. That is the scariest looking pupped on the circut. Ha ha i love you Madame!

  • I remember watching this show when I was a kid. That is, until my mother banned me from watching it, since she thought it was inappropriate viewing for someone my age! My mother was so strict!

  • Dame Judy Landers has come so far since this series!

  • John Haymer also played SGT.Zale on MASH.

  • I demand Madame's Place be released to DVD!!

  • I'll sign that petition!

  • me too! I thought I saw madames place on DVD in Virgin records. Then again, you can find pretty much anything in NewYork. I love Madame so muuch!!I used to watch it when I was little and it's older than I am :)

  • peter griffin had his hand up her butt!!! lol

  • lol...I watched it when I was like 4. I can remember it, and my mom not liking some of the humor for a 4 year old...I think it was on saturday nights before PM magazine.

  • Fuck AIDS.

  • This puppet game me nightmares seriously

  • I was 14 years old and in the ninth grade when this show aired.

I am now 40, but Baby...

    I live for Miss Madame

  • Would love to get this on DVD, one of the funniest show I ever saw. I would memorize the lines and use them all week (people thought I was funny.)

  • O MY GOD - I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!

  • my parents and grandparents thought that puppet was so damn ugly. i've heard the name "correy feldman", but i don't remember anything about him.

  • He was always In movies with Corey Haim.Like Lost boys,License To Drive. And many other movies.

  • I have four episodes of this show on VHS. I keep waiting for it to come out on DVD. Everything else has. It was only on for one season. I'm sure the rights are tied up somewhere. Or maybe no one thinks anyone would buy it. I would!

  • One of the funniest shows I can remember. Favorite line...Charles Pierce [as Bette Davis] to Madame "Why ask for the stars, when I can give you a moon!"

  • God, I LOVED this show.

  • I still remember one of Madame's best jokes: "Prince is proof that Jimi Hendrix f*cked Liberace." Too bad this series isn't available on DVD.

  • Thank you for posting that line. You made my day.

  • Wow. Madame was so damn funny. Wayland Flowers was a terrific puppeteer. And, hoo boy! Judy Landers was THE reason I watched this show when I was 9. Yummy...

  • When I was a little kid I would confuse Madame with Lady Elaine Fairchild from Mister Rogers Neighborhood. Seriously though this was one of my favorite shows when I was eleven. All of the racy jokes went clear over my head of course, but I still loved it.

  • Lady Elaine Fairchild was SO CREEPY to me as a child!

  • Johnny Haymer(the butler)played sgt.Zale on M*A*S*H*.And Judy Landers was A truck driver on BJ&The Bear,I believe.

  • Yup, she played Jeannie "Stacks" Campbell.

  • Fortunately I don't think Corey Feldman showed up too often. A great series! Seeing this clip really takes me back.

  • Corey Feldman before he became a freak and desperate for attention!

  • I loved this show she is funny i rather watch her over and over then watch shows that are airing now such as reality tv.

  • She gave me nightmares when I was a kid. And they're about to come back again!!

  • LOL, Madame is kind of scary-looking ;-)

  • lol how ironic. she use to scary the .... out of me.

  • madame you to scare the crap out of me when i ws a kid !lol

  • i miss this show ha

  • wow....corey feldman? wow.

  • Didn't she also do cameos on "Solid Gold" in the early 80's? That's the only place I knew her from

  • Yeah, she did, as did her late partner, Wayland Flowers. (Madame also made a cameo appearance on Family Guy.)

  • Madame and Waylon appeared on the nightclub comedy circuit in the 70s and 80s. They were part of an awful comedy/variety show in the 70s called "Keep on Truckin" that was on for like 4 episodes in the Summer of '75 or so. Later they did this show and also "Solid Gold."

  • She scared the hell out of me.

  • What scared the hell out of me was the fact that Corey Feldman played on this show. (The only time he was even tolerable was on The Goonies.)

  • more madame videos please

  • Probably the gayest show ever and a total riot! Needs to be released on DVD. Better than the junk that's on now. You GO girl! :-)

  • I'm pretty sure Paul Ruebans (Pee Wee Herman) was on this show.

  • He was according to his imdb page, PeeWee's Playhouse movie is coming in 2011
