  • I have always loved this song by Patsy Cline, she was awesome, :)

  • This song always makes me think of Greater Tuna! Love the shows & the song!

  • PATSY!

  • very well said neonvincent1...maybe they just don't know what a real singer is and what real music is all about....patsy cline is a great singer of all time....

  • To the 12 people who disliked this video - when you clicked on it just what were you expecting? Patsy Cline was a genuine American icon and quite possibly the greatest female vocalists of all time. Even if you don't like the music, like her for what she was and what she acheived.

  • This was my father's favorite artist. He passed away a couple of years ago, but, when I hear this song, by this wonderful singer, it brings back a lot of fine memories of my dad. I miss you dad, very much. You will always be a part of me. I love you so much. Thank-you Nocaro for this post. It helps me remember a wonderful man.

  • listen to this. feeling, heart, and sexy. you cant do a song any better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THERE'S NO ONE LIKE PATSY CLINE....I LOVE THE OLD COUNTRY MUSIC

  • I'm in tears just listening to to this song by Patsy Cline. She's the only one who could have done justice to these lyrics and music. She's sorely missed.

  • Best song ever, and there was no one like her! Great song for slow dancing.

  • What a voice - my favorite femal singer.

  • @chankooncheng: I agree this song of nostalgia.

  • One of the best ever at leased under top 5

  • i was young when i heared this song but i love her voice

  • I LOVE THIS SONG. TAKE'S ME WAY BACK...SHE SING'S LIKE AN ANGEL...

  • #1 Jukebox hit of all time? Hands down. Not even close. I don't think I ever saw a box, in my drinking days, that DIDN'T have this song on it, and it sure got played often enough. It's the all-time-crying-in-your-beer song, so no wonder it would be the #1 jukebox hit-- every guy who ever got dumped has played this song. (I've often wondered if the man in He Stopped Loving Her Today would have been listening to this song over and over before he done himself in.)

  • very interesting bio for this song. relevant even today.

  • Bardzo lubię słuchać Patsy Cline

  • Yeah sad.....But what a wonderful memorial she lefts us ... Thanks Patsy......R.I.P

  • As beautiful as the first day I heard Patsy sing. Gosh I wish she had not died so young

  • God bless you! Your voice is Eternally Beautiful and so is your Memory! Rest in Peace.

  • Look at the impact of talent. She has been dead more than 50 years, and she is just as famous as ever. Her music will last forever. There are few who will be able to make that claim.

  • There will never be another Patsy

  • Willie wrote it but Patsy nailed it

  • Willie wrote it but Patsy nailed it

  • the best rendition of this song....ever!

  • It's still as fresh the 1000th time as the first, I never get tired of liseneting to Miss Cline!

  • Thank God I can still listen to Patsy Cline on line. my degenerate ex- neighbors destroyed both

of my Patsy Cline CDs. :(

  • It was such a loss not only for her family, but for the world. She had one of those rare but extremely talented voices. Listening to her sing brings back so many memories, and they were great memories.

  • wow, what else can be said. In my opinion Patsy Cline and Karen Carpenter had the best female voices, for that era-----why do all the good ones go that soon????

Just imagine the songs Patsy Or Karen would have recorded, had they not died when they did,

  • El sentimiento traspasa la barrera del idioma...y del tiempo. Preciosíma interpretación.

  • Simplesmente deslumbrante!!!

  • This was my Nanna's favorite song.. She died 9 year ago today and I know its abit of a cliche saying "and it still feels like yesterday" but to me it really does. I was only 12 when she passed but she was one of the funniest best friends I ever had. I have a little girl now and I really hope she is proud of me and all I've done.. I know she'd think the world of my little girl. I miss you and love you more than you will ever know Nanna. Rip xxXxx

  • this makes me think of my grandmother..shes only 52 i think.but i think its amazing.I danced with her to Patsy Cline's music, and now my daughters are dancing with my mother to her<3....in my family, shell forever be a legend.:)

  • THE BEST slow dancing song ever recorded....NO one can ever or will ever sing this like Patsy.....great photos, thanks for sharing...

  • Always great

  • i LOVE this song!!!

  • I've dropped enough nickles to know......

  • Simply a classic!!!

  • A bit of trivia that should surprise no one here : The All-time #1, most played song on Juke Boxes across America : this masterpiece, Patsy Cline, Owen Bradley producing, The Jordanaires backing, & singing as good as it will ever get. . Was there any doubt ? Wolfsky9

  • @Wolfsky9 No doubt at all!

  • This was my Mum's most favourite song. Mum died in 2004 and every time I hear this I get tears in my eyes, but I smile too remembering my Mum singing along with Patsy. Thank you

  • the year when music is called music..the lyrics and melody is superb...in this generation no offence what we have is a crop Music.......

  • The best

  • in her voice are the years of many people , that have grown older ,those that have listend to the music of those years, are what truest of people and how they really were., can we please have a little of that society back?

  • What a voice!! Man, she could sing!! Gives me goose bumps every time I listen to this song.

  • She was certainly one of the best artist of her generation...her voice is so distinctive..Lee Ann Rimes is close...but ...not quite there

  • So glad I lived in the best of musical times!Almost 70 yr. old geezer.Patsy had deep rich voice for female. Some female country voices are irritating.

  • Sang this on stage many, many times....It was always the most requested song that I had.

  • 100% classic romance and tears oooooooh

  • I'm 62... This is music...

  • Grew up on this ~ goin out with it too~~ Crazy huh....

  • can never get bored with such heart touching song and has been listening to it over n over .

  • What could anyone possibly say????

  • A heart felt song..Wonderful lyrics...timeless classic...

  • A letter to my soul

  • A True American Classic.

  • Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves...two country cross/overs with magnificent voices that died a year apart in private plane crashes. They were tied for second behind the Day That Music Died. I'm still bummed out nearly 50 years later.

  • Beautiful song!!! Puts you on a dreamland....

  • I used to sing this song to my son, who at the time was in my womb. I love you Patsy!

    Swstalkee~

  • Goosebumps @1:32 !

  • She sounded like a female Elvis. Very similiar style and sound.

  • So sultry...so sexy!!!!

  • There's only 1 Patsy Cline XXXX

  • superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • while leanne rimes has a superb voice and sings this song very well indeed, the original hit by patsy cline with its haunting piano music & background vocals ,gives this song an air of nostalgia of the early era.

  • @chankooncheng Absolutely. No one ever will sing it as well as Patsy Cline!

  • Love is the irresistible desire to be desired irresistibly.

  • Im sooo sorry about your granddad, He's at peace now, God bless

  • I miss my grandparents too. My heart goes out to you.

    Patsy Cline is amazing.

  • @samvanbeem what a beautiful moment in time you have described. what year did they get married?

  • A recent loss brought me back to this song, because Patsy's voice and Willie's music capture EVERY emotion I feel. Fifty years later, this song is still relevant and resonates with everybody. That's timelessness for you.

  • @samvanbeem So sorry to hear about your grandad.. I know the feeling.

My grandmomma past last month and she loved Patsy Cline and Neil Diamond..

I am sending u a big huge. There's together now.. You have a two angels watching over u now..

  • Thanks for including Barbra Streisand Nocaro. I think Linda Eder could have been included on this list, subsequent to Streisand, had she had the material (songs) available to her.

  • Patsy u r the greatest female singer I've ever heard.

  • her voice is intoxicating

  • my mum used to love this song as I grew up,,

  • She is my great, great 2nd cousin. Amazing voice!

  • I love Patsy Cline, but I never cared for "Crazy". I actually like Willie singing it better. But I love her older stuff and apart from her "Hits". Patsy didnt' care for Crazy, either. Its not straight country. I love Patsy Cline, but just not this song. I guess nobody will agree with me.

  • A great song Willie Nelson wrote and also sung by Pasty perfect!!

  • I like and love this song very much she has very nice voice.

  • My husband and I fell in love seeing this movie and loved this song!

  • How could anyone dislike this?

It is amazing! Patsy Cline is good and this song is too!

  • I think Patsy Cline and Elvis Presley should have done a duet together!!!

  • Patsy Cline and Willie Nelson. What a combo. This song send shivers up and down my spine.

  • Pure, simple and piercing ! The best.

  • I honestly think, after listening to an expert play the recordings of her extensive career, (she began as a club singer), you should include Doris Day on your list of great American singers. Research her work. I think you will be impressed.

  • So Willie Nelson originally wrote this? Holy crap that guy is talented. Didn't know that.

    Thanks.

  • what a great song...immortal.

  • patsy cline, one of the best singing we have, and know one will every be as good as patsy

  • Oh well, let's admit it, there are just too many great women to name.. but, Patsy is surely at the top of the list. Timeless. OMG, I have that sweater!!!! It belonged to my Mom and I've kept it forever. What a trip!

  • Oh well, let's admit it, there are just too many great women to name.. but, Patsy is surely at the top of the list. Timeless.

  • It's as if an angel from heavens own choir fell to earth and sang for us for a little while, then went back.

  • still songs great , even after 50 years

  • Patsy: One of the four great woman singers in American music (other 3: Keely Smith, Jo Stafford and Karen Carpenter.)

  • @7927jackpark I'd name 5: Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Patsy Cline, and Barbra Streisand (although Streisand has wasted most of her talent doing other things).

  • @Nocaro You are right about Streisand, wasted talent! She was hard to deal with due to insecurity of being a waitress before she became famous! Some people can handle fame, she's one of the few who can't.

  • @Nocaro I speak from altogether too much personal experience on this: "Crazy" is probably on the greatest number of jukeboxes, even those with precious little other Country music, and is usually played even on those boxes. However, in another poll, the most-played Country music song in pubs whose jukebox caters to that taste is supposedly David Allan Coe's "You Never Even...". For my money I'll take Patsy anytime.

  • @Nocaro amy winehouse. nina simone.

  • @Nocaro and aretha

  • @Nocaro When I first heard this song, had to have it. As a teenager in the '60's, played this song over and over and over again, a song from the heart, that I never tire hearing over and over and over. Patsy is my favorite female country music singer of all time.

  • @Nocaro So many songs that only Patsy could sing, with real heart and emotion. Thank you for your excellent uploads of them. "Only the good die young" and she was much too young to go. To the regret of her many fans, of whom I am included.

  • Patsy Cline and Hank Williams...there are no better !!!

  • @7927jackpark aretha franklin, donna summer, dolly, turner way back

  • gone to soon

  • C.R.A.Z.Y brought me here.

  • This is the song of old and GOOD America. America that we have lost.

  • parrot....the parrot calls u mom...

  • This was my parrot's favorite song. She'd say, "Mom, Gooood Song!"

It's okay if you laugh. She really "felt" the music and would dance and sing to it. This song touched sooo many people, no matter what type of music they liked.

  • No one will ever be better than Patsy, the greatest of all female singers

  • Cette chanson a repris vie avec le film québécois du même titre C.R.A.Z.Y. un chef d'oeuvre québéquois! Wooot Woot Woot!

  • This was my grandmother's favorite song! R.I.P. grandma =,(

  • Yep, I try not to listen to Patsy too much, either...'cause I start cryin' like an ol' dawg....whoops...time for the kleenix!!! Patsy is the greatest!!!!! wheeew!!!!!

  • love this song want it played at my funeral

  • A beatiful soul, spirit and woman--inside and out. We just don't value such beauty when it is among us.

  • Excellent!!

  • I allways wonder what Willie Nelson was going through when he wrote this song

  • Being a VA girl growing up in the 60's, heard a lot of country but bing a pop fan the country performer I liked was Patsy and this is her best song ever. But, anything Patsy sang was beautiful!
