  • i cant choose what im going to be, an air traffic controller, or a pilot.

  • Is this a good paying job? because i love airplanes but becoming a pilot takes a lot money. which i dnt have

  • I have a problem of which engine for an aircraft to start first? Here I see 2 of them. And then 777-300ER GE90 starts # 2 first

  • Well done!

  • @47321, what is the tug driver's job before the plane pushes back?

  • Nice vid. How loud is it out there?

  • @clarkdoc Substantially loud. Hearing protection is a must to maintain sanity.

  • great video!

  • Thanks for posting this video. Are you back to work at United?

  • Nope. :(

  • just for the san fran airport authority?

  • Is it hard to push back an aircraft?

  • easy as reversing a car after you have performed a few...also very very cool having a multi-million dollar aircraft at your feet...no pressure :)

  • do you pushback for one airline only or all different ones?

  • Well no airlines now, I was laid off last week. :(

I used to push United only, I was a United employee.

  • that must have sucked. :(

  • Gotta love the sound of the Pratt and Whitney engines during takeoff...

Great video. Interesting to see pushback from this angle

  • so it was you that made me fall on my ass while doing the safety demo....LOL Just kidding...you guys and gals do a great job of pushing us back everyday!!!

  • This is actually very interesting. What a cool view of a job that is interesting. I sent my son a link to this page to see if he'd be interested, if he decides to eventually leave EMS. Thanks for posting.

  • The handling of the 777 is amazing! Turning with this aircraft is the best. The last set of wheels on the main landing gear turn to assist you. Good Push.

  • I did not actually know they did that! I pushed another 777 and made sure to pay attention to it, and sure enough, they swiveled. I had a look at the mechanism that controls it as well, very impressive. Thanks for the tip.
