Imports are economy cars people try to modify so they can break 13's in the quarter mile if their lucky (that doesn't change the fact that they have terrible handling). all i have on my integra is a motor swap (which was free came out of my old integra) a turbo which i bought from a buddy for 200 im running 8psi,headers CAI, and full exhaust system. Im running low 10's.Im about to put stronger internals in it and run 20 psi.

However if it WAS true, the 5.4 liter DOHC engine in the new GT500 will create 1000+ hp with just a supercharger upgrade. But honestly, it seems highly unlikely you can make that little 1.8l do 10s with just a turbo and an exhaust. Not to mention your internals would probably snap from the torque you'd need to create to go that fast. You'd probably need a higher flowing intake manifold to support the boost too

Imports are economy cars people try to modify so they can break 13's in the quarter mile if their lucky (that doesn't change the fact that they have terrible handling). Granted, if you have shitloads of money, you can make them do 10's, but for half that money you can make a V8 do 8's, so what's the point?

all i have on my integra is a motor swap (which was free came out of my old integra) a turbo which i bought from a buddy for 200 im running 8psi,headers CAI, and full exhaust system. Im running low 10's.Im about to put stronger internals in it and run 20 psi.

However if it WAS true, the 5.4 liter DOHC engine in the new GT500 will create 1000+ hp with just a supercharger upgrade. But honestly, it seems highly unlikely you can make that little 1.8l do 10s with just a turbo and an exhaust. Not to mention your internals would probably snap from the torque you'd need to create to go that fast. You'd probably need a higher flowing intake manifold to support the boost too

The 90's and 00's Cobras had 4.6 liter DOHC V8s, in '07 with the GT500 they introduced the 5.4 liter DOHC V8. I don't understand what you're doing to deny? Muscle cars are, and always will be badass, and respected in the performance car community, and everyone will always make fun of ricers, except for the tiny little social groups here and there that like them. That's just how things will stay. Also, DOHC engines have been around forever. They even used them in World War II aircraft. They also were used in the Mopar Hemi, before ricers even existed. I'm done with this conversation.
