  • uuu..he is gone.

    nice

  • luckey you, you have such great friends.

  • Question. Para is something that I've been curious about for a while but seeing this really does make me think twice about perusing it.

There is no safety cut-away of the parachute should the wind take it as it did here? What would have happened if the canopy collapsed and fell in to the fan? The fan cage seems almost comically weak to safely contain a blade failure from the operator being that this gent just fell over on to and dented it badly and destroyed his prop. No secondary chute?

  • bit of gardening

  • Don't worry Phil...that's exactly what my Buddies would have done! Thanks for being sport enough to post and laugh at yourself. Seriously this one should be on the bloopers reel!

  • It was very regrettable. However, it is happy to understand the pleasing ambience and to see. Please hold out applying the nature in the future. It assists from Japan.

  • Oh shit. I would like to start paramotoring next year and was thinking of Bailey paramotors but it seems like they are poorly designed and constructed. This crash looked really dangerous. Are all Bailey paramotors so dangerous? The cage looks very weak...

  • @gorodph Oh yes, they are all horrible. Flat tops are awesome. They CANNOT crash.

  • Phil you are a legend ha ha...

  • I'm not sure if I would hve been smiling right from the off like you did - Well done mate. - Lennie Pincher, Norfolk

  • You probably have the negative altitude record lmaof . But seriously glad you were'nt hurt.

  • expensive, but very funny :-)

  • After all we all have fun with or without crashes,be good and all the best to U

    Ps Very nice video

  • phill? have you been up since this?

  • @captclivemason Sorry for the very late reply. I was flying the next day (prop & cage replaced with spares), and have continued to fly ever since, with a brief stop to have a hip replaced.

  • why dont they built the cages so they dont bend? - it would have saved the prop.

  • Great! You "lucky" guy!

  • such compassion.

  • Funny

  • well done , nice one , we all make some fuckups and learn from them, only the ones that don,t fly make those (smart) remarks.

  • I AGREE, It isn't funny to us but to the spectators who know nothing about this,It's hilarious

  • Sorry to see you need complete training and unnecessarily destroyed your equipment. Had you become airborne, you would have only been a passenger, so its best you never made it off the ground.

  • Phil that was classic, I was crying with laughter, hearing the other laughing at your misfortune, Jesus I recon that tops bend me round the hedge video, well done mate £250 goes to you!

  • That was a crack up .The way not to do it.wots that noise is it paul bailey rubbing his hands together

  • Kev brilliant work in getting the video up, Im just grateful to have witnessed it in person, it was a great holiday never laughed so much! Priceless!! And thank you to Pill for the entertainment.

  • If you just had a nice soft hedge to fly into instead of a ditch, you would have been fine.

  • In all that laughter, did you notice a slight hint of sympathy, no neither did I.

  • It took them about ten minutes to recover before they checked if I was drowning! :-)

  • Another cracking video from the bendmeroundthehedge production studios. Nice one. Can't wait to see te full EMPC on tour video.

  • That's an expensive plough :-)
