Although i would agree its useless COMPARATIVELY to All Green/13 Orphans it is useful in her guard crush combos and as a mix-up/rush-down option depending on how your opponent plays.
No that's not true, there was a special way of allowing the use of Hakumen in the arcade mode...though you had to be able to get inside the arcade console but that's not the point...
Yeah I agree - I remember pulling off 16 or so hit combos with Litchi, and I know that combo damage is scaled, but these things were barely even taking 20% of the life bar! I then discovered 7 hit combos doing about 3 times as much damage!
Yet I've seen high level players dish out a lot of damage in one combo with a Litchi, so it obviously can be done... Just looks incredibly tricky to do is all lol!
if you're used to a controller i'd stick with what you know, unless you're playing litchie arakune or carl, some of the button hold stuff is A LOT easier on the big buttons of a joystick
The stick is overrated. I'm a pro pad player. I have a thick callous on the ball of my thumb after years on the pad. I let some dude talk me into buy the $150 SF4 fight stick and played on it everyday hours at a time-and I think it was a total WASTE cause I'm a pad player. PPL beat the living crap outta me for weeks- The SF4 Fight Pad is the best controller-as far as D-pads. The D-pad on that thing Sweet! is like a "joypad" Even PS3 standard controller can't touch it! + which was my favorite pad
I will eventually make aLitchi strategy vid by the end of the month featuring my things I like to do w/ that hot sexy babe! Just a few things like her Kara-cancels In due time oh in good time!
you're a pro player eh? never seen you at a tournament, the stick is easier w/ litchi because of her negative edging, as i stated too, if you're a pad player stick w/ it, negative edging is just a lot easier when you have more fingers with big buttons at your disposal, the fight pad has a floating d pad which also decreases accuracy for most ppl, i've seen people mod sega saturn controllers to play on too, you play on what you play, making a comment on youtube saying your a pro player = bad idea
I say I'm a pro pad player b/c i've been playing ALL fighting games on pad since SF2 on SNES. I've played almost every pad-the Fight Pad is the best, the dreamcast was the altime worst!! The SF4 fight pad is THE most accurate b/c i have built in accuracy, i rotate on outside circle of pad instead of on the inside arrow keysI never miss Litchi's 13 orphans from either side of the screen. I can say I also recognize that years of joystick playing destroy som ppl's wrists when they get older...
Yeah sure, so does handwriting. You're typing on a keyboard and using a mouse right now, you'll probably get carpel tunnel, or at the least some very arthritic hands. That's life.
LOL sure is!! ) But not trying to say Pad vs Stick or one'll kill ya B4 the other!! I actually plan on buying my 2nd stick w/ the purchase of my Tekken6!! That way I'll b able to draw some arcade-style gaming in my community!!
ustoopid, 13 orphans omg half circles are super hard, the floating D pad on the fight pad makes a lot of technical inputs like litchi's random IAD's and shit harder than they should be, negative edging is also hard on that button layout, and to be a pro player, you need to be winning tournaments and shit lol, go watch a video of 10stars play bang, he's a pro pad player, way above your level dude
Whatever, dick. I don't have to prove anything to anybody who has to sing someone elses praises. You talk tough, why can you stand behind the shit you're talkin yourself instead of getting behind someone else? I know wTF I can do. I don't NEED to win tournaments to know I'm good and I could eat whinney lil babies like you for breakfast. 13 Orphans/great wheel=easy on floating D pad..for me that is.
@DAIBIJINCATCHER50 its based on your play exp. I've played gg,bb,street fighter, and tekken with both pad and stick over the years and I know how to use them equally, well the stick alittle more thanks to the button placement
Not just any stick but a SFIV FightStick TE; it's second to none. It'll run you about $150 but if you're into fighting games it'll be more than worth it.
is it just me or the background beast look like reog ponorogo

Maybe. It just seems like the only time you'd ever use it is if you are just desperate for a projectile when your opponent has little health left.

Damn...they need to bring up Litchi's damage....all those damn inputs and barely any damage...Hakumen does that much damage in a few hits
jourdal 2 years ago 2
I wonder why....Maybe because he is a boss character that isnt even playable in the arcade version of this game......
Piemasta9000 2 years ago
um no he's been fully playable in the arcade for months and isn't even high on the tier list
