Die's characters are unique and good. and i like how he doesnt rely on high tiers to be on the tops. this is actually the first time ive seen him play keep away which is a smart thing to do on a rushing phoenix when your option is limited. (yeah ill admit i got bored watching it still though lol)
Running away and laming out your enemy in this game is WAYYYYY harder than you think. This is not SF IV where you can jump back all day. The mixups and mobility of the characters in marvel are too fast to block everything.
Dieminiom's play taught me one thing after watching this. Playing like a Bitch will only get you so far. Also, if you're of the opinion that running away in a "Fighting" game is a legitimate strategy than you don't deserve to be playing. Jus Sayin

Both played rather smart. Love this strategy. I love players that know how to play a proper run away game. Cause that person knows what he/she is doing and is taking a big gamble.
run away can be achieved by any character. But its hard to run away for 99 seconds while facing a pro. He is playing a defensive game in an offensive game where you can get random'd out half the time. Respect or not, that is impressive.
If your gameplan includes running away for 70 damn seconds whether u call it runaway, zoning, whatever. u deserve a dark wesker to the face no matter what. i can respect a runaway game but this is just corny. its like if i were to get a punch in and then runaway for 98 seconds so i can win its sooo lame. its not about jus winning, u gotta win with style to. no matter how far dieminion can go he will never earn respect playing like this, at least not from me. i will say he can beat me tho lol

As much as I usually respect Noel Brown, he only won due to Wesker. Also, Dieminion was very brave to use Viewtiful Joe, Morrigan, and Strange. They rarely show up in game let alone competitive play! VERY good Morrigan and terrific Joe keepaway!

A glitch is a software's "hiccups," where the system goes into a usually temporary malfunction or irregularity of equipment. Using it over and over, wont change the fact its a glitch, until it is patched.

@icrityourpants dude its because of xfactor. xfactor level makes it so he needs to timeout certain character he cannot win against without a huge advantage. joe and strange get eaten by wesker, and morrigan needs a lot of bar to fight him and an xfactor. he times out to avoid having to fight wesker at all. don't blame dieminion, blame xf3 and characters like wesker/phoenix that get better with damage.

I love it how Dieminion waited out to not let Phoenix turn. This is the first time I see people doing that in tournament. That's some smart stuff. If people want to use cheap characters, then you use cheap strategies against them. Congrats on Noel using two of the cheapest characters in the game, Wesker and Phoenix.
The only character that seems to counter Dieminion's gameplay well is Hawkeye.

Dieminion is so boring to watch. Good fighting style, but boring as f***. I could understand y he would use Phoenix in his first 3 matches. To give Dieminion a reason to run away. :D but in the end Noel's main team did the job. Good s*** from Noel, props!

@multidinero First off, let me establish grounds of credibility. 3rd year Computer Software at Cal Poly Pomona. A glitch is a software's "hiccups," where the system goes into a usually temporary malfunction or irregularity of equipment. Using it over and over, wont change the fact its a glitch, until it is patched.

A glitch will stay a glitch, if anything your argument is, ITS A SECRET GLITCH, then it wont be a SECRET GLITCH, because everyone is using it. @icrityourpants dude its because of xfactor. xfactor level makes it so he needs to timeout certain character he cannot win against without a huge advantage. joe and strange get eaten by wesker, and morrigan needs a lot of bar to fight him and an xfactor. he times out to avoid having to fight wesker at all. don't blame dieminion, blame xf3 and characters like wesker/phoenix that get better with damage.

I love it how Dieminion waited out to not let Phoenix turn. This is the first time I see people doing that in tournament. That's some smart stuff. If people want to use cheap characters, then you use cheap strategies against them. Congrats on Noel using two of the cheapest characters in the game, Wesker and Phoenix.
The only character that seems to counter Dieminion's gameplay well is Hawkeye.

She's really an Anti-Phoenix character. Getting caught up on 2 soul drain fireballs= 60% meter I believe.It will be almost impossible for her to get back to 5 bars in the process because of the meter gain in the game.
