  • try jogging, cardio work out helps A LOT in reliving stress n anxiety . cut down on the bozz, it make s it worse!. my girlfriend had the same situation. she was on Xanax and zoloft and now exercising has done it for her, no more pills.

For a girl this isnt such a big deal but for a guy this is a huge deal. It affects your ability to get an erection and maintain it. Totally embarrasses you during sex

  • they go somewhere. If you traveling by plane or train this could be the worst because you cannot exit. I know I get them when i get high and this makes the panic much worse and sometimes i would get it at my job. if there was a long line of customers and i was the only one ringing them up i would see all those people standing there looking at me and i felt like i was on display and i started to lose control over my body and i started to shake and i couldnt do my job. For people who don't know what a panic attack is like it is when you feel like you are losing control of your body and you feel like you are either going to have a heart attack or faint or whatever but you just feel this really strong urge to get out of wherever you are and run somewhere. You start to shake and you feel like you are losing control. People who suffer panic attacks need an exit plan whenever

I have GAD, SAD, panic disorder and agoraphobia. I have taken ativan and klonopin. Yes klonopin works but you will feel like your dying slowly if you ever stop taking them suddenly

  • ok i had my first panic attack in a hospital where my heart beat reached 198 BPM .Full blown. I thot i died...i had a series of panic attacks since then. I am alive. I agree with you-Take medication- its helps- Please please dont get yourself addicted or abuse them.there are loads of no addictive SSRI s in the market- use them..dont waste time of life thinking what if they dont work or if i get addicted....Live your life,,,Dont loose in to panic.. Panic disorder is very common and can be cured!

  • one thing i,ve learnt about my anxiety is that it clouds your brain so much that your soul vanishes as if it was never there. i,ve gone ten years with this crap and i decided to ignore my head and go and see a doctor. i,m now on meds and a cloud is lifting my head and old feelings are creeping back into my life and i can be myself around family and friends now. dont sit away suffering in silence. get help and ignore your head from telling you otherwise. is there a god????

  • dude i feel you ive delt with this for so long 27 now but it hurts me from working and just living a normal life i lift weights and its like the only thing that puts me at a good place but im also learning other little tricks like no caffeine its a pain and will make it so much worst and drinking helps of course i would drink before i would go into my job but its not the right way in the long run .the bad thing about this is not many understands and will think your lazy and worthless

  • it is becoming more evident in the medical community that a lot of panic suffers literally have a brain disorder. It tends to run in families. For example...my mother, brother sister and I have it....and a relitive on my mothers side who has it as well. So taking medication can be a good way to go to lessen or eliminate the attacks. Don't be afraid of medication. Generally the effect is subtle and often takes weeks or months to actually start working well

  • I 30 years old and have been suffering with anxiety most of my adult life. I have had anxiety attaches on several instances after a night of drinking. they were very scary moments, several time i have called an ambulance. unfortunately you will need to limit the amount of alcohol that you consume to prevent this from happening. It was the only way for me to overcome this situation. It will only get worse if you continue to drink heavily day after day.

  • I lash out when I get anxiety attacks. I scream, or burst into song, or hit things, or hit/scratch/bite myself... because it feels like I'm bursting from the inside (while being trapped in from the outside) and I have to do something or else I feel like I'd go insane. I start hyperventilating, and sometimes just can't breathe, and my heart rate goes through the roof, and I start to cry... sometimes I even make these weird noises that sound like I'm wailing. It's because it's too much...

  • Dude, I too thought I was becoming schitzofrenic,, but its just your amygdala (part of you brain center that control fear) that is fucking with you. Trust me, lots of people who suffer from heavy anxiety think they are becoming schitzofrenic.. this is not the case.. you have nothing to fear, its normal.

  • @1981z28camaro ; No I havent read it, but I might :) I am just trying to find my ound way out of this hell. I have found some things that helps. But every person that suffers from this, must find its own path. You must learn to over power it, to overcome your fear and even overcome the fear of death itself.. that is the only way to defeat it. If you do not succeed, this angxiety control your life, you will become a slave to it. You will lose all thats called free will if you do not overcome it..

  • Anxiety is a concern for me, but what's even worse, is that schizoprehnia might come to me soon. I'm on meds now for all my problems but they don't work, because social withdrawal is a negative symtpom of schizophrenia which is very difficult to stop with meds. I wonder do i have social anxiety or is it tied in with the oncoming schizophrenia?

  • @cryingmushroom47 I am really experienced in dealing with panic attacks. I have read a lot about it and yes, I have panic attacks too. I do not think you have to worry at all about panic attacks "leading to schizophrenia".....I have never seen any evidence what so ever to support that. Now.....if schizophrenia already runs in your family, thats another story. So don't worry about that.....us panic attack sufferers have enough to worry about.

  • Trust me dude, your anxiety can get way worse, and your mind can go into a dreadfull state. At my worst I did not want to live.. Im not cured yet, battle is still ongoing. But I found a couple of teqniques. I converted to Islam and learned to meditate, that helped me alot! But what helps for me wont be effective for others. However if you feel horrible try these things that help the most;

    -Work out(even if you have no energy left)

    -meditate

    - listen to inspirational music (epic music)

  • Shakin2009 - The exact same thing happened to me! And my mother had a history of anxiety too! Trust me when I say smoking mariuhana for long periods of time can be a catalysator for the anxiety attacks. Allthough I do not believe it is the source of the anxiety. Its simply just the lighter that ignites all the gasoline that was allready there. As for alcohol, it helps getting the anxiety away, cause you simply dont give a fuck there and then, but the day after is horrible..

I started having them so bad I would have heart palputations thinking i was dying and id go to er i couldnt think straight,long story short i became addicted to morphone to relieve it now im on suboxone and the dr frowns on me taking benzos and i have went from a decent good job and an artiist to being on ssi struggling w my meds waking up almost w a panicky depressed feeling and going through relationships like crazy,I'm still looking for help,good luck to this guy!

  • @beentherehitdat anxiety attacks are different from panic attacks (what you are thinking of). In some ways they are a lot worse as they can last from hours to days and can really mess with your head.

  • yep i said, lift a car, because your body feel in danger and your brain said to your heart beat faster to make lot more blood to your muscle to be stronger for flee, or ready to fight! thats what adrenaline is about and this is why i think its useful in our life . . . your body is build for that ! the worst thing could happend will be faint for couple of sec, that is if you breath too much! but in that case breath on a little bag of paper for 2 mins and it will stop the felling to suffocate

  • to know, is stop use medication!! if you do that, and try to do what i said it will never work! you have to do with your own mind, example if you lost your medication someday . . . you may say F--- !! i'm gonna die and get more and more panic this way! and it make that worse, the only thing i recommend to use is drink tea like camomille or green tea, anything that doesn't have caffeine, the best is green tea but decaffeined, it have L-theanine that help to reduce stress, and help depression too

  • Well, I don't feel any anxiety when I just wake up. That tells me that my body is totally relaxed.....Just wish I knew how to keep it so relaxed. There doesnt seem to be good enough advice out there to where people are feeling what I go through and can fully relate. I know that I had to quit smoking weed. That will make your heart beat faster right there. Same with cigarettes. Drinking helped me too, but it was just a quick fix and complicate things for me later on. I dont smoke or drink anymore

  • Hey Matt, I can relate I use weed and a host of other prescription meds. I can't drink but I know it helps. I understand what you live in and it sux. just keep on your meds and everything else like you said. I also pray a lot and, God will help you. I feel for you and hope you get better.

  • nice video, i found this video by searching for anxiety attacks on youtube because i suffer from extreme anxiety whenever im about to go into a social situation from a calm relaxing situation - say im in my mums car being driven to town to see my friends i will feel like being sick due to anxiety. I have also stopped attending school as i couldnt get out of the house to catch the bus, i had to resort to private tutoring. Its effecting me now, doesnt help that i have an abusive partner.

  • my extreme depression and anxiety hits me right before i go to work at 5am (lack of sleep maybe 4 hours) and realize im heading to a day of a grumpy, screaming boss, unsatisfying work and worse of all nobody gives a fuck ; ), like one day a co worker of mine had an anxiety attack and had to leave to head to the doctor , and when the boss found out he fuckin flipped out and threatened his job

  • I start drinking beer right away when I get home from work. I will take some medication. I thinks it's a way in my mind to even out the day. I feel like crap half the day so I want to feel good the rest of the day till I go to bed. I feel like you, first thing when I wake up I don't really feel anything, then as I am getting ready for work it starts kicking in and by the time I have to drive to work I am very nautious.

  • @shakin2009 Yeah dude I use to be a heavy ass stoner everyday for years. Then I started to not enjoy it and freak out, like there was something medically wrong with me, mostly my heart or lungs, I continually dismissed it and found out my mom had a bad history with panic attacks, and looked up my symptoms and they were spot on, so yep no more ganj for me, cause its not enjoyable no more.

  • I started drinking on a nightly basis because of my anxiety. I felt balanced and able to sleep after drinking about a six pack. About 5 years later the anxiety was not as bad but I was left with an addiction that still made everything bad. 7 years into it, the hangovers started giving me panics attacks from hell. Ultimately I quit drinking and that has helped a lot. Another thing that helped was that I would think about and try to solve my problem consistently until a window appeared.

  • Listen, i found something that helped me out ALOT! i suffer sever panic attacks every day (almost), i havent been to the doctor to see if my sweating,trembling,and fear is something else, but im sure its anxiety. ....It happenes every day at school and noone else has it. it SUCKS. But realize this.....You only have ONE LIFE, you dont need to panic all the time and search for your'e illness. it will ruin you. ENJOY your life. but always see ur doctor, becasue u never know

  • I suffer from an acute anxiety from alcohol withdrawal and was wondering if anyone can relate. I obviously dont drink too much now and really only do so on social occasions. My last experience was so heightened i spent the whole day paranoid someone was going to break in, everytime my phone beeped my body would jump. there worst is the inability to settle or sleep, my mind just kicks me at the last monent, jolts my nervous system, i spent three days awake and on the verge of suicide.

  • @celestineboy27 Yea, I had at one point what is referred to as brain zaps. This would happen when I was trying to sleep. Also, for the first time I was dealing with my anxiety more efficiently. I believe that the brain zaps were a good thing, that my mind was sorta healing itself. After a couple of weeks it subsided.

  • Your description was pretty accurate. My first time experiencing one was a week ago. I was for sure that my life was over. Couldn't eat, had derealization... BAD. I felt like I was in another world. This lasted for 4 days. It really did feel like hell. I would take any type of physical pain over that feeling.

  • 4 to 5 times of anxiety attacks a month? Mine is more like four to five times a day, until I get to exhausted my mind goes numb. Now I just depersonalize, because I can't handle the real world mentally.

  • Ok let me tell you something about lorazepam first off it's very addictive and very harmful to you your gonna gain lost of weight and if you suffer from depersonalization it's gonna make that worst also btw my anxiety started from drinking so if you ever want your anxiety to get better u have to stop drinking

  • @1989budweiser wow, im 22 and thought nobody felt the same i did. i to have heart palpatations after drinking and smoking. it sucks, i wish i could drink and smoke a little weed like a normal person but i just cant for that reason. i'v now been to the ER a few times but they always tell me it's nothing serious, even though it feels like my heart skips ( it's a scary feeling!). at least now i'm starting to get answers and learn that i have anxiety issues. best of luck to you man

  • Thats a great analogy of panic with the plane crash cause thats how it is for me. drinking will only make it worse over time cause youre copping and not dealing. you need to face your panic head on, Youve lived threw all your attacks and should live through the next one. Think about this, have you ever had one that you werent thinking something was wrong with you or going to happen? cut the caffine back and stop smoking. exercise and yoga are good to get centered and relieve stress.

  • Matt of course Benzos work there like freeze dryed alchol and highly addictive im about to be put on vallium and im sacred but ive made a deicison to do so, my depression and anxiety is so outta hand, i was put on prozac previously and it F*ucked my life up, so when you say dont be afraid to take medication warn listeners that benzos and SSRI's are like night and day, no affence to you matt but this hole medication ordeal is so confusing (atleast for me) i jus wanna put that out there

  • I feel the same, I think drinking calms your nerves and in the morning your not in deep thought so its unlikely for me anyway that panic attacks are the first thing on my mind, same apply s when I'm happy and around people, also when I'm working or outside I don't feel anxiety. I have developed a fear of flying since my first panic attack which sucks cause I love travelling :(

  • I have had two anxiety attacks in a week. They feel very scary, I had one and my heart started racing and I felt light headed. It would skip beats and have short pauses. It's very very freaky.

  • I know that drinking completely washes away the anxiety and fear. I drank very heavily everyday over Christmas break with my family, to the point where it began to frighten me. Try easing up on the alcohol and also look into Panic Away or the Charles Linden methods. I believe that they have some very valuable aspects to learn in them. Good luck, man. I know it's rough but hang in there. It'll all be over one day.

  • Matt, Ive been dealing with anxiety since october 5th of 2010 (about 5 months now) and it has been one of the most difficult, terrifying things ive ever experienced. I took note of what you said regarding your anxiety on flights. I'm the exact same way. It's horrifying once you get up in the air and you start to feel so helpless and scared. I have recently cut back on my drinking and I must say, it has made a big difference. I would have my worst panic attacks when I was hungover.

  • I have sever Anxiety, Mild Depressions and SEVER Panic Attacks! I also hyperventilate with them so I go through it everyday it is not fun ever! I am 14 and putting me on meds this young is a risk! So I am going to deal with it but I think I may see a therapist:/

  • Ive had anxiety for as long as I can remember. Ive been on multiple meds including Clonazepam, Effexor XR, Lexapro, Xanax, Zoloft & now I am on Prozac. Im still getting used to the Prozac, but for me it works. I am the same as far as being goofy & extremely upbeat when I am happy, but when things are bad... theyre bad. There's so much more id like to say, but i hope that you keep pushing thru & hopefully cut out that drinking...

  • Well, there's different levels of anxiety, but it seems 2 me that theres a fear or something u regret in ur past. something deep back... all drinking n smoking does is worse things being out and getting active is great... its kinda like depression but a bit different... if theres something or someone u regret or fear its ok... fear is part of being human.... regret is something u fell when u did something or felt like u did something....

  • Drugs and alcohol are deadly. So stop drinking. Drinking atually makes it worse. Not enough room to tell you how the alcohol messes you up. So please research on line the affects of alcohol as relates to anxiety. You will be surprised I'm sure. I will pray for you. But as long as no underlining health issues, it will be overcoming metally. And it's a hard battle. Also, high iron levels can make it worse. The one in my family that are real bad have high iron levels. Check with Doctor.

  • Many people in my family suffer from anxiety attacks. Most have overcome them. My son has them the worst of anyone I have ever seen. He decided alcohol was the way to go. At first calmed him down. He has been to the hospital so many time I have lost count. His heart rate and blood pressure would go so high he had to be put on medication to bring them down. I had anxiety attacks for about ten years. I was lucky and realized what was happening.

  • I always thought alcohol helped but it really makes it worse the next day, it's like pouring gasoline on a fire. I quit drinking and I have enjoyed a marked reduction in my anxiety

  • Dude I suffer the same thing man. Honestly I have found ways to help it. First and most important, see s therapist. Get your feelings out. It made me feel 80% better, and I suffered for 8 months!!! Another great way is breathing in through your nose, out through you mouth very slowly and calmly. Another way is always think positive, thinking negative can set triggers in your brain, leading to an attack. Let me know if I helped!!!!!

  • The blood tests to check for things like hyperthyroid. the bad thing about the drinking is it helps when your drinking , but the anxiety is 10 times worse when it wheres off the next day .Alcohol will turn your nerves crazy. When you said heavy drinking , i thought no wonder. Quit the Alcohol,will save your life.

  • I here ya and feel for you, you definately should not drink, or you should only drink in moderation. I was there for about 2-3 months last yr. fuck the ativan , or any short half life benzo. Vaium is the best , its a lot longer acting drug, and you can tweek the dosage, much easier to ween off when your better. Stays in your system longer. Try to get out of the house every day to, interact with people. Stay active. Get on a regular workout routine too. Cardio and weights. Get a blood test.

  • 100% stop drinking, it will take over and dominate your life,its creating more anxiety and depression by changing your brain chemistry, get the assholes out of your life, put up strong boundaries to keep negative vampires out of your life, learn to 100% relax, adopt an i dont give a shit atittude, dont worry, find something you love to do and throw yourself into it.

    educate yourself about your strongest fears, fear heart attacks see a cardiologist, have a heart ultrasound, u can overcome this

  • hang in there man. try not to drink or rely too much on meds. you can live without the meds. you will still have good and bad days. you can try some techniques to ease it as well...plenty on youtube.

  • get that taken care of, i'm 38 been drinking my whole life cuz of anxiety, ruined my life, i been homeless most of my life and just fear being around people..i been taking celexa, seroquel and now abilify, seems to be helping a lot, now i can sit at a bus station without feeling like my eyes are comeing out of my head and uncontrollable face movements don't occur so much

  • i feel y\all of u, i have been having panic and anxiety attcks 6 yrs now, i didnt kno wut to do or even what to thnk but dwell on the sensations, WHICH IS THE WORST THNG TO DO; but sumtimes u cant help it, u feel helpless n out of control,as if ur goin insane, jus remember, they will not kill you, harm you in any way at all. there has never been a reported case of death due to a panic/anxiety attck, rest assure. fight fear with ffear,

  • I get anxiety attacks for no reason with people I work with even friends! I also drink too much and it helps me deal with it! Sometimes I cant even meet my friends sober!

  • @countsmyth yah I havnt been able to work in 2 years now because of this. Im on government support. I want to get off from it but it just so hard. None of the meds work for me, xanax/klonapin sorta work, but here in Maine NO doctor will prescribe xanax or klonapin to someone who has tried to OD on pills before so im sort of stuck. Dont really know where to go from here to be honest, most of my support system is about fed up with me so that makes it even harder.

    Jesus thats terrible what age are you when did it start become a major problem ? How old are you, do your family not visit you anymore? Somtimes an event in your life triggers this kind of thing in my case I think i was conditioned this way from being very young! But my case is nothing compared to yours I think listening to you I have no problem at all! How do you spend your days?

  • @countsmyth well, mine was sorta triggered from a terrible event. My dad suddendly died when I was 7. Before that I was "normal" besides a.d.d. but then I began cutting myself off. It started to get better and when I was 14 I started working and that began to help more but im not really sure when but sometime around age 19 it started to get worse and worse. Every job ive had ive done well at until ive had a panic attack at work and quit. My brother killed himself in 2007 when his wife left him

  • @countsmyth and basically since then its just gotten worse. Im 26 now and basically just spend my day racing online and doing some web design here and there. Sorta why im on here at 4:45am looking at anxiety videos, im HOPING to find maybe, just maybe, some advice I havnt heard from a doctor that could actually help. My poor self esteem doesnt help either and having the world worse teeth makes me not even want to open my mouth to speak to people it sucks :P

Staying up late is the worst thing for your condition man a regulated life is the best way to become well again! I know this is easy for me to say! Why do you have no more support system?

  • @countsmyth I would quit basically because I felt at the time I had no other choice but to quit or keep having anxiety that would lead to another attack. I know its a dumb though yet I couldnt think of anything else at the time. I know staying up late isnt good either but sometimes its hard for me to sleep just for the simple fact that im inside all day and not burning any energy so its so built up I cant sleep.

Ive basically also had ppl to talk to but then I would always get the feeling after they have heard my crap over and over that I just waste their time and start to push them away.   • I have severe anxiety and hypochondra and ocd and the anxiety I had developed into somatoform disorder which is like hypochondria it was so bad but i take celexa and it does wonders for me . also i take clonopin when i get bad attacks. do u drink on clonopin?

  • Man, there's more than meds to approach this. Alcohol only adds to the troubles. You need a good psychologist or psychiatrist to counsel you through why these attacks occur. Cognitive behavioral therapy is one approach. If you have enough insight into the attacks you can prevent them from occurring. Stop self-medicating, start exercise, and get help. You probably have depression along with the anxiety.

  • ive had anxiety for about 2 years now. the first year i had bad anxiety and havnt had a panic attack in a year. was in work today and drank a shit load of coffee. felt sick, and all of a sudden i thought i was having a heart attack. for me the thought of im having a heart attack is scarey. and called the ambo xD kinda embarrasing. but yeah not looking forwood to work tomorrow. any help would be very appreciated

  • @xoxokryptonxoxo Hey man, the first thing I cut of my diet was caffeine, and the panic attacks abated greatly. When I get a cup of coffee at say Dunkin Donuts, sometimes they'll not listen to my order of DECAF and give me caffeinated instead. It only takes two or three sips and my body starts going nuts, with ensuing panic symptoms.

  • I have severe anxiety , for the past 2 weeks 24/7 been to the ER like 8 times in 2 weeks! it is insane! We just have to fight!! and Im sorry u have to go thro this as well.

  • I know what your going through I've been having bad panic or anxiety attacks and I had a bad one at the doctor's office few days ago and I'm taking Wellbutrin for my depression and I know that's not helping my anxiety at all and it has done a number on my stomach I feel that my life is ruined and I've tried drinking wine and it does makes things worse, it's awful and pure hell

  • I got it bad like you. I always drink to stablize it. To this day i get it everyday. I stopped driving 5 years ago, because of the attacks and all the other shit that happens. I was able to fly on a plane last year, but can't drive. Are you able to drive without having attacks?

  • Don't drink with benzos....you can EASILY die.

  • On the way there My arms went very numb and tingly... I couldn't move my fingers or wrists... I felt like I was going to die... at the hospital my resp. moniter said I was breathing in the high 40's... normal is between 15-20. also they told me that I have a heart arithmia... not sure if it's connected, I'm no doctor but he thinks that's what triggered it... I have to go for a 2 week test wired up to a heart moniter though... so not sure if this helped but I never want to have that feeling again

  • Man, I was hospitalized today with a very severe anxiety attack.... I also drink heavily about 5-7 days out of the week... I find the worse days that I have the symptoms are the days I mix beer and rum rye and/or vodka and stay up really late... Last night though I had 13 beers and woke up still drunk and went to work... I was fine for the first few hours but then I started getting light headed and puked a few times... it got so bad that I got a friend to drive me to the hospital...

  • Try Effexor XR. It works for me. I recommend it. You need to be careful with some medicines out there. Sometimes they can make your anxieties worse. Make sure you know about the Side effect.  You mention about drinking. Well dont Drink. You are on medication. Jeez no wonder you can't get better.

  • @wolfhomme I use to take Effexor it didn't work for me I was suicidal on those pills. No antidepressant works, I've tried alot and ready to give up

The reason you wake without anxiety and it slowly comes on is because your mind goes from very slow when you wake as it is inactive to overractive once you are fully awake. number 2 when you drink you increase your brand dopamine, which makes you feel happy and content, also you increase your brains gaba which calms and slows the mind.3 when your happy you raise your dopamine.

  • @mattakabigmatt hey dude i need your help. i went to a docotr recently and she put me on trozadone which is some antidepressant shit which i know i will never take, and inderal for blood pressure (this doctor is a moron). i suffer from severe sleep disorder and severe social phobia and anxiety. i told the women exactly this and this is the crap she gave me. when you went to the doctor, did she give you klonopin right off the bat? or she tested some other useless shit on you first

  • @mattakabigmatt another thing, the doctor told me to try this stuff for a month, and then com e back to see her. im not actaulyl gonna buy any of this useless crap and wait a month, go back and tell her it didnt work. is there any way she will know that i bought it or not? or test my blood to see if i had really taken them?

  • i smoked marijuana a couple weeks ago and i have been having random anxiety attacks ever since, i don't kno if it's going to get worse or what. all i kno is that it's really horrible you constantly think your going to die NOTHING feels like real life my mouth gets very dry i get extremly shaky everything gets blury i get hot flashes i feel extremly light headed and off and on my it feels like my whole face goes numb if you have never smoked weed b 4. then i am warning you DO NOT

  • I started getting panic/anxiety attacks after i smoked some of that "Legal" weed shit called. Smoke XXX. I had a very bad trip ON IT. Ive never had anything like these attacks before. Its been a years since i smoked it and i get 3 panic attacks a day.

  • I think religion can have alot to do with it, just by believing you're always protected by a higher power and being a good person and like all people can remove alot of fear & anxiety, being full of hate is the worst.

  • I undersatnd where you are coming from Matt. I every once in a while have anxiety attacks. SOme are short and some last a while. The worst part was when I was fourteen I did not know what it was. I seriously thought that I was going crazy! My family was too ignorant to understand or want to understand. They would call me crazy themselves. It was a hard time in my life. I had serious thoughts of suicide, but obviously I just snapped out of it. If I am very stressed, then the anxiety builds up.

    They hurt my stomach.

    Sometimes I drink monsters, because they get me hyper,

    so hyper that I forget about everything.

    They come so randomly :/

  • buddy your not alone, i live with this disorder for years and im on propranol, it helps but you need to regress back and try to find the triggger of this and resolve the issue, i live in fear every day and hope oneday i will wake up feeling free, peace

  • Hey Matt, I suffer from anxiety as well. It didn't use to be so bad, I use to be able to stop it by myself without any help but over the years it has gotten worse and worse. I used to take meds for it but couldn't stand how dead I felt. Pot used to stop it but nothing helps anymore. Anxiety for me comes from nowhere. Happy, sad, bored, mad, it happens. I know it comes in a lot of forms though and it seems like if you don't have it you can't understand it no matter what.

  • Dude you are 100% accurate, i have the exact same problems, i take lexapro everyday, it helps, but it doesnt completely stop it. I still have panic attacks, maybe once a month. I cant take any narcotics bacause of my previous drug use, ive abused pills pretty heavily in the past to deal with my anxiety and also just partying and having a good time. but just wanted to tell you that the drinking for me, made it worse.
