Me too ! In fact it was my very first marathon and I'll certainly be back this September, since I made sure I entered and sorted out all my travel and accomodation at the start of the year. Flat as hell ! Last time up I didn't particularly like that twit who goaded an Afro-Caribbean runner with monkey sounds. This took place quite close to the turning with Martin Luther Strasse. Thankfully I slipped by without the moron noticing, as I moved away from the edge of the pack towards the middle.

Hi ATPADPenergy. It's an incredible marathon isn't it? I really wish I'd entered it this year but I want to do a different one every time. This one was special, though. 42000 people, thousands lining the route and Haile Gebrselassie breaking the WR. I didn't hear that guy you mentioned and I'm glad because we can do without idiots like that.
I'm doing the Geneva marathon the same day, so good luck to us both.

Roberto Madrazo Pintado won 55-59 year old Berlin marathon
with a spectacular time of 2:49
he made a short cut at KM 20 which you can check on map
btw .. guess what he run for president of mexico.. of course he lost !
His time is 3:50 but thanks to the shortcut was 2:49

da ist ne ganz rote frau durchs bild gerannt(2:31). kann so was it einem bei sport passieren - oder wollte die nur rausstechen aus der menge?
