  • WTF easyiest question in the world i knew it

  • cough cough cough. wow theft of 1000000 pounds. what kind of jail time is that.

  • 7:02 'I think it's a Nanomole' - Puppy Look

    8:37 'I don't think it's Nanomole' - Full Confidence

    xD

  • Did anyone else find this video extremely scary?

  • @ivysmash no just educational. being scared is a sign of fear.

  • i read the comments and knew the last question was easy, but seriously? that should be the 100 pound question

  • So what's the lesson here, cheat or not? Pretty hard questions some of those, so...cheat away my friends! although you may wanna get away with it.

  • 00:12 What is she whispering in the guy's ears?

  • He's lucky he wasn't playing the Indian version

  • googol yay i won £1,000,000

    :O

  • tha millon dollar question waz so eazy!!! even i new tha anser to that 1!!

  • Wow at the stupidity of this guy, just wow. The Wittock dude could've very easily gotten away with it, had he collaborated with someone with a brain instead of this dude. Seriously could he be any more obvious? Openly stating that he has absolutely no idea what the correct answer is and then purely guessing for a million pounds, waiting for 99 coughs to confirm the answer, not able to list the answers in any subtle way, what a brainless idiot.

  • If he'd been less greedy and pulled out at the last second, I bet he'd've gotten away with it.

  • 0:21 THE LADY AT THE BACK, THATS A MILLION POUND NOSE DIG RIGHT THERE!

  • If I stated that my original inclination was Berlin and then was notified that it was actually Paris, I would've used the excuse that the answer Berlin would be too obvious of an answer for a question worth so much.

  • that was soooo easy

  • WTF AM I DOING HERE WATCHING THIS

  • megatron - transformer

    gigabit - computer measure

    nanomole - measure of chemistry

through process of elimination i think it is a googol and i was right

    yay that was easy!!!

  • how did the wife knew all the answers? I didn't catch that part. Please answer.

  • 0:49 Why is Stephen King playing Millionaire? The man's filthy rich!

  • His wife is kind of scary looking

  • if the guy wasnt a retard this system woulda worked fine

  • Comment removed

  • guy behind his wife is a plant. not real. the chick is trying to act and show interest in her "husband" he is in a plain black suit white shirt and tie... him and her know what is going on. anyone who wears a plain tie is either forced or didn't have the $ to afford a better one.

  • without watching im going to say berlin since the germans are the only ones who refer to anyone as baron

  • Quite cringeworthy watching it and realising how bad the system really is.

  • Even I knew the million pound question...

  • wait wait wait wasnt there a time limit for every answer?? seems like the major has seven years to answer each

  • @xplay101 Not in the early series.

  • i only knew the 1m dollar question loool

  • the hot chick and the guy behind Major's wife are like "he is totally cheating"

  • once you figure out he was cheating, it's soo damn obvious

  • The million pound question was one of the easiest of that episode..

  • If you wanna do it, DONT TALK SO MUCH....that way u dig a hole for urself....

  • His wife looks like a major fucking cunt.

  • How did he get in the seat if he wasn't smart enough to answer the questions? I mean is the other person knowing that much more?

  • 8:00 What a bullshitter.

  • The audience looks like they were getting suspicious of the person cheating the whole time. It's a shame that people like this have to ruin the game and steal money.

  • This guy is a fucking retard

  • the 1-mil answer was pretty easy:

Megatron is a a Decepticon and some electrical-engineering-related term

gigabit is a measurement of computer data

    nano prefix means small

  • haha the guy at 2:56 all the way to the right looks possessed hahaha

  • the last question is actually very easy !!! it's google the largest named number

  • @aif86 actually, that would be a googolplex.... a 1 followed by a googol zeroes.

  • @sxemo06 you're actually right, it make sense cause i read that the largest number is 10^10^100 which is 10^google which is equal to googolplex. i also read somewhere about a "Googolplexian"? been the largest named number which is 1 with googolplex zeros, but i cant confirm.

  • @aif86 yes, both Googolplexian and the even larger Googolplexianth have been postulated, but not taken seriously by mathematician's. After Googolplex we're talking about things like tetration mathematics, or Graham's number, and in the case of Graham's number, the observable universe isn't large enough to give a digital representation of it...

  • @aif86 Iconically, one of the best references to a Googolplex would be in Back to the Future III.

Doc Brown is getting 'drunk' near the end of the movie, he says, that Clara Clayton is "one in a Googolplex".

  • @sxemo06 properly the only reference ever !!

  • It use to be megatron, until optimus kicked his ass.

  • cough - take the money - cough

  • gosh the million pound question was pretty simple..... now if only i knew the answers to the ones before XD

  • Anyone could at least rule out megatron and gigabit surely!

  • Someone please Clara with me why its called 'Major Fraud'?

  • @CuurlyBro 1. He was a Major in the Army

    2. It's a big fraud, hence the play on words

  • School night, 1 in the morning, still have to do some homework, but fuck it Ima watch it till the end!

  • I learned the million pound question in kindergarten no joke.

  • Tequin Whittock would have won the million fairly, he must have been kind of pissed

  • How has major fraud 8 got more views than major fraud 6

    I smell a fucking rat

  • OMFG THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION IS SO EASY!

i knew it within 1 second after it popped up.

  • @userisviewing it's pounds

  • 9:11 "Shit!!! I married an retard!!! The kids are gonna be retarded too!!!"

  • The million pound question seems easy to many now, but 11 years ago the term was not well known.

  • this guy is so stupid! maybe they would not have been caught if he played by their strategy, but seriously, on every question, he goes "this is not this and this is not this" and ends up picking the answer that he thought was not it!!! and he always says "i'm not sure" how many times can you guess and get it correct?? even if you didn't hear any coughts, you'd still suspect something! the milionaire dollar question is so easy, how he could he have not known that?

  • he just shouldn't try to verify all the time!

  • OMG never heard of Googol but all the other options are not even close of 10^100 and everybody should know that. Phhhh i wish i could get 1million on a question like that

  • @r4nd0mi1

Yeah that one was easy as hell, the only thing you need to know that all the other 3 are not even numbers. Gigabit is for computer disk space and Megatron is a transformer characters (yes they did actually put this in the 1M question). So the remaining two are Googol and Nanomole, but how do you measure "a mole"? And besides, the prefix nano stands for something especially small, not extremely large.

But the bottom line is he's an idiot and would've won if he had taken like the 125k

  • @Cslangsta If these guys would have been actually smart they would have won..

  • I think it's Rome, It might be Paris, there's a chance it's Berlin, but I thought it was Athens. .... this guy needed to pay attention to Michael Larson.

  • Im Optimus Prime and I take offense to option B Q15

  • His wife is fucking ugly.

  • when i was in year 4 at primary school (age 9) there was a poster in my class with a googol on it XD ive now known what one is for 9 years xD

  • In 2001 there was no google so the question wasn't that easy ...

  • @Blink23c Good point, haha. I actually knew the answer to that before I watched these clips (call it a documentary, whatever) but I originally learned the answer from Google. However, there was Google in 2001. It wasn't as advanced as today though.

  • You serious? I knew it was googol, talk about a dumbass, I'm sorry, I learned that in like 3rd grade.

  • wow, before the answers were up i knew it. damn.

  • I seriously haven't been able to answer any questions during this show but this. Is it just me or is this like the easiest million pound question ever?

  • I was gonna go sleep 1hour ago, then I found the first video of this.

  • he is an awful actor.. 6:41 "think.. think... think.." haha

  • I learned what a googol was when I was a kid, then me and my sibs found out what a googol plex is so we made jokes and stuff about that... Plus ive watched transformers, known that the thing that ends in bite is computer related and nano isnt related to 100. I always thought it was related to 1000, but the major was so used to his 'crutch' he wasnt even using his own knowledge.

  • guys this is before internet was popular so the question was not that easy

  • Even if you haven't come across "Googol", which is completely possible, you should still know that Megatron is a transformer, a gigabit is a unit as is a nanomole. By simple elimination most people who have any education and have watched some TV would have known this.

  • the woman looks like a witch

  • 8:05

    baddass

  • this guy sucks at cheating, wittock should have been in the chair...

  • 28 people decided they lost interest in the story during this video.

  • Comment removed

  • the hell, I knew what the million dollar answer was before he answered it (just know how to measure computer storage take high school chemistry and watch transformers movies), I got *most* of the questions correctly by guessing, why can't I have a million bucks?

  • keep in mind, people, this was taking place in 2001; Google has been founded in 1998 and it might have not been THAT well-known around the world, just saying...

  • thats why google has soo many "o"'s when you search

  • There's a part 8!

  • 7:02 and 8:37 HUH

  • number 15, easiest question on there!

  • you can tell if someone is cheating if the person who's winning is an idiot.

  • @muttley299 well he isn't an idiot cause he did get away with the 1 million at first xD

  • Why the fuck am I Nervous?

  • Bulldog Millionaire!!!!

  • Are you kidding me!! The million pound question was THAT! Unbelievable, but understandable. This was from like 2001, when the internet and Google weren't as popular. At least thats my theory.

  • Wow this guy is a dumbass he coughs way too much

  • so bored.. but have to finish this

  • Question 15 should have been Question 1...it was that easy!

  • @msunami omg definitely

you can hear the audience going "wtf?"

  • @msunami yeah right who doesnt know that

  • @msunami Even I knew the answer!, and I can proudly say I only knew about 3's of the entire questions asked to him

  • @msunami Yeah, but 11 years ago it wouldnt have been.

  • @msunami agreed

  • @msunami agreed

  • @msunami

No kidding. Any half nerd would get that. And if you're on that show you sure as hell are a half nerd.

  • behold.. my next cough is a 12.12.12 prediction

  • The half a mill question was so easy. "I don't think it's a megatron" He clearly isn't smart enough to get there on his own.

  • honestly, if I were up there, and I thought it was Berlin... I'd probably second-guess myself because that sounds too OBVIOUS for such a high-stakes question.

  • Comment removed

  • did he really have to cheat for the last answer....? are you freakin serious?

  • Why the hell was that the million dollar question? That's so easy...

  • I don't know the answer to the last question. I should look it up on line. Maybe with Bing, or Ask is good.

For real though, if you don't know who Megatron is, you really shouldn't go on a triva game show, cheating or not.

  • i should be studying...when will this end

  • After watching this I started coughing, multiple times

  • the wifes a bitch!! y the hell would she keep staring at the other helper?? shes seriously blowing their cover! doesnt no how think, specially major, doesnt no how 2 make up his mind...and the coughs just pisses me off..i could of just say this guy is annoying take him out of here!!

  • dude look at the snowflakes

  • his wife looks like one cold bitch

  • Megatron disliked this...

  • last question is easy, also did you know?one followed by a googol zeros is called googolplex

  • @iLouis199 Anyone that knows what a google is will most likely know what a googleplex is.

  • Comment removed

  • haha wow "nano" means tiny, and gigabit is computer data, so easily narrowed down to 2 answers, and megatron is a transformer. mega easy

  • what's up with his wife's eyebrows

  • i learned that in grade 5 common for a million dollars thats retardedly easy

  • Wow he screwed himself.

  • What is with the million dollar question!?!?!?!??!?!

  • at 7:21 they say whittock is talking, but it looks like the Major says the line

  • megatron from transformers, gigabit from pc memory, hmmm what could it be??

  • would have worked if he came in to the studio with a cold

  • i knew that 1 mil question since i was in 1st grade

  • I think they made that question an easy one on purpose.

  • Why doesn't the person that is helping him cheat, that knows all the answers, just go on the show, they would get the money all legally ...

  • incredible how foolish and ignorant they all were. This was becoming so obvious that a child would suspect that something is happening here. I just cant seem to understand how can an educated man as Whittock who was a college lecturer, be this foolish.

But i've read somewhere they all had debts. And the sums in the late questions really are tempting. Greed killed them all

  • @glutamin111

remember that the coughs were no where isolated in this video, watching at home you would not hear those coughs.

  • @PyjamaBoy93

who cares about people that were watching at home? im talking about the staff that was working there and controling the game, and even the people in the crowd.

What were the chances that nobody could notice this absurd and repeating algorithm of coughing? Close to 0 probably. As the expert said, they could have argued a few questions as circumstantial and random, but when the same algorithm occurs in 3/4 of the questions, even a dumbass would suspect something

  • fucking easy last question....

  • Comment removed

  • the coughs sound like their put in the video. Are they?

  • @vio701able They are in this video because they are isolated from the original microphones playback in the studio

  • @s9srider k thanks i thought it was fake

  • very smart....

  • that million dollar question is easy as fuck

  • WOW THERE'S A SEVEN. I WANT TO SLEEP.

  • 6:35 the guy in the back is giving the F**Ked! gesture...and his two friends just can't believe it hahah

  • WOW this A-hole needed his terd to cough four times before he chose the answer?! what a terrible system. Not to mention the guy didn't come in sickish or nothing...crazy unplanned

  • what's kinda funny is that because Haussmann is such a German name, i would've guessed something other than Berlin... The question is worth half a million pounds so it's not gonna be obvious. Also i would logically have thought it wouldn't be Athens or Rome so I would've said Paris... but who knows what Greed does...

  • @AdmiralofTheEmpire i would have said france, baron haussmann, baron sounds so french like :)

  • @ 1:54 the girl behind the wife gives that "yikes" look...and this poor wife is cooking. She should've fainted or something to stop the process. How can she not tell that everyone else is suspicious. She's suppose to be the look out!

  • Such a slimey bastard.

  • If you think this is an easy million pound question, remember it was over ten years ago and the company Google had only been around since late 98. Google or googol were not a household words as they are now.

  • easiest million question?

  • everyone knows what googol is

  • I'm 15 and I know what a googol is!

  • lmfao, the million pound question has gotta be 'megatron'.... XD

  • It's an easy question.

    Megatron

    It's a transformer.

    Gigabit

    Is 2^30 bits.

    Nanomole

Nano is a prefix for 10^-9; doesn't seem logical it would be 10^100.

So by process of elimination - even if you've never heard of it - the logical choice is Googol.

  • @FinneousPJ not everyone are math/computer nerds tho

  • @dieselboy87 It doesn't take a nerd to go through the elimination process above.

Just high school freshman level knowledge of chemistry and having ever used a computer is enough to decisively eliminate alternatives D and C, respectively, as the raw numerical values are too low.

B is not as easy to eliminate if one has never seen the transformers series, but it doesn't sound like a number rather than a weapon, machine or... robot.

For a normal person, a 50-50 gamble at worst.

  • I knew the million dollar question because of my 8th grade teacher, but I wouldnt see how that could be common knowledge.

  • DONT YOU DARE DONT YOU DARE ILL AVE YOU

  • Comment removed

  • @brup123 what? this was in 2001.

  • @brup123 Google's been around since '98

  • Who can freaking blame him? It's a million dollars!!

  • @whizfingers Pound Sterling, actually (which is about 1.5 million US Dollars)

  • They should be censuring the guy who designed that million dollar question, you want to talk about helping out Charles? A giga- is a billion, a nano- is a thousandth, and a mega- is a million. Logically it's clear none of them are correct.

  • @ResettisReplicas lol also that megatron is a transformer

  • THAT is the million pound question? really?

they must have some lower standards over in Britain >_______>

  • @xthomprya I don't see no meth heads in Britain.

  • @TheLewisOfJohnsons really? maybe read some online articles and you'll see meth heads in britain

  • I think the more interesting part of this story is 2:55.

WHAT IS THAT GUY TO THE RIGHT LOOKING AT?!

  • Holy shit that million dollar question wasn't just easy, the answer was completely fucking obvious! A MEGATRON?!

  • Why was he wiping his nose with that hanky all the time?

    I SHOULD BE AN INVESTIGATOR.

  • The final question is the easiest by far and he couldn't even get that lol no wonder people got suspicious I already knew what a googol is when I was in grade school.

  • Lol @ 0:11 The guy and the lady sitting behind the wife know what's going on and are talking about it. You can see the Lady whisper "how" right before she glances down at the wife. XD
