  • Hey sweety how many grams did i come out too ( how thick ) And how did it look?

How many times did you fold it over until you were happy with the thickness of the hair and finally! What hair did you use? ;)

  • Hey I was actually thinking about buying the clips but like you said they come in 1 8", 2 6", 2 4" and 2 2" for one set. I wanted to know if with these lengths should I order 2 sets or will 1 be fine.

  • i need something besides hair...i dnt have any....itstoo much money...what do i do?

  • watching your video showed me ways of saving money.... I was so inspired that I actually went out bought the hair and clips and spent like 2 hours doing it like i was about to spend 89.99 on line and wait like 1 week for it to come and my total for everything came out to be like arond 50 buck, the hair, cuz i have needle and thread at home but yes you are saving us women money....thank you for this tutorial its was very helpful. thank you doll also you are very beautiful

  • This is very helpful, I'm making my own for the first time starting tomorrow. I have some already made, but I usually but them right up close upon the scalp instead of an inch below, blends in better. Your hair looks wonderful though, and you're very pretty :) . You gone have to put that eyeshadow tutorial up here too!! Lol

  • Do the clips and thread come in blonde. My hair is cut in a bob. Will this work for me?

  • @jmeinkowsky I've seen light brown clips. The thread you can buy at a craft shop in multiple colors, so yes :-) It's just a regular spool of thread.

  • this helped me alot

  • Do u have or could u make a tutorial on this makeup look?

  • Very cute! I like how you showed how to attach the clip to the weave. It isn't as hard or time consuming as it seemed at first and it looks very natural! You look like someone on TV....What is her name??? I know you probably have heard it before. lol

  • What kinda hair are you using??

  • thank you so much appreciate that so much

  • very informative !!

  • where can I buy some to make ? I live in Australia.

  • @sharinxx there should be a hair supply store if not ask your local stylist where to buy synthetic hair

  • I love this..I think I will try it!

  • Love your post. You speak so clearly, explain things very well and get the point. I have tried sew in, glue in, and just recently TAPED in . My hair is beyond damaged and I'm now in need of extensions until I can get my hair back to a normal state. Clip in seems like the obvious choice so I'm trying this tomorrow! Thanks so much!!

  • I really need you help!

About 2 years ago i got my hair relaxed, and the guy that did it ended up leaving it on too long! And the whole top of my head's hair fell out! so i had no hair on the top of my head. about half and inch. It has grown out since then, but it only goes about half way down my head. when i straighten it, it has so much volume on top compared to the bottom. i need a hair straightner that will make things flatter. if you have any products making my ahir grow, i would love it!

  • I just wanted to say Thank You for all the info you've provided!!!!! I've been watching your vids for a while now and you have been a huge help. Thanks again and God Bless u and ur fam also CONGRATS on your new bundle of joy!!

  • Hey dprincess, i feel like u wud probably know this question...my hair is natural i dont know what hair type number but it is a kinky curly. I have been wantin to change it up a bit b/c im tired of short hair, so would u happen to know a website or recommend a place where I cud possible get curly clip in extensions?

  • Girl you just gave me another way to do my hair while Im going threw my natural process. I like this alot it looks really good and the cost is great.

  • What did you use to color your bangs?

  • how did you color your bangs?

  • Wow!! Really neat.. Ima try that!

  • Can you do a tutorial on the loose bun out I love this hair style.

  • hello i wanted to know if flexi rods would work on synthetic hair or yaki hair ? which hair is better?

  • where to get the clips

  • Tried this this past weekend! Not only does it save money I love being able to customize fro my hair texture, color, etc better than pre made. I just did them for more thickness. I have a package of softly curled human hair that I got cheap that I am going to try too! Can't wait!

  • Thanks I plan on trying this method!

  • Awesome tips, awesome vid. thanks for sharing and saving us all a bundle!

  • What type of weave are you using? I'm looking for something that blends with my hair texture

  • thank you !!!! i have been doing this for a while BUT never though to use synthetic hair DUH ...LOL off to the beauty supply tomorrow LOL

  • me and my mom used this technique a few weeks back and it really saves ALOT of money:)

  • How did you get the brown highlights in your hair? What product did you use??

    Thanks!

    Your hair is INCREDIBLY pretty!

  • Your hair is gorgeous! Gonna have to review your videos and find out your hair regimen. Good instructional video.

  • I BC'd 2 months ago and want to wait until my 6th month mark to flat iron my hair. I will use this method to add some variety to my hair. Thank you.

  • obsiphital bone? Girl, you earned that degree. You smart!

  • good tips

  • Thank you! I've been wanting some color in the back but was too scared to dye it. I was going to be conservative but now they might be calling me rainbow brite! Thanks girl!

  • very informative.....thanks for sharing.....sistas r really doing it for themselves.....

  • Thanks DPrincess28 for the demo. I've been making clip-ins for a few years now and use your exact technique! I usually double up on the track though.

  • @RosiLeouis80 Heyy! how do you double up the track without one end of the track being left loose and perhaps sticking out? This is a really good idea because single tracks have thin hair on them.

  • @KimaOnline Well, I fold it over and make sure I stick the needle through both of the wefts. It's kind of tough because it's so thick, but It doesn't stick out for me. Hope that's helpful!

  • You just saved me $150.00!!! I love it!! I still have a pack of weave left from when I got my sew-in weave done from my "weave hairstylist". I was going to go get my hair sewn-in again in about 1 more month (I currently have micro-braids that I am about to take out) but after watching this video, I decided that I will just do the clip in weave. You are awesome!! Always such a wonderful help. You are making my transitioning to natural hair such a breeze! Thank you so much and God bless:).

  • @kristenjdec Oh and just to let you know "You are a friend in my head" LOL!

  • @kristenjdec: So glad to be of help. Blessings to you too!

  • First of all I can't believe how much your hair has grown. Its absolutely gorgeous. I'm natural for 1 year now and if I ever feel the need for a perm all I have to do is watch this video.

  • Thank you for this video! I've been wanting bangs for a while but I'm too scared to cut my own hair. I decided to come online and see if I could figure out how to make one myself, and this video was in my subscription list. =D

  • What brand of weave did you use?

  • Your eyemakeup looks great!

  • beautiful

  • This was excellent! I'm not quite ready for clip ins yet, but once my hair grows out some, I may try them from time to time. :)

  • nice! Do they have clips that are bigger though?

  • OMG!!! You have definitely open my eyes and given me new ideas!!! Thanks this was such a revelation moment

  • Always nice to see a new vid from THE DPrincess! You truly were an inspiration during my brief transition to natural hair!

Wow, great vid! That's definately a MUCH better option than gluing a few tracks in your hair! I will keep this in mind once I decide to straighten my hair!

    Blessings always and thank you!

  • @tressfreecre8tions i think her transitioning video was one of the first i saw! she also helped inspire my journey!

  • @NiaSoPurdy I think hers was one of the first I had viewed in terms of tips etc! So empowering! lol, I did FIRE my stylist too...but once I decided to go natural, we were not on the same page!!

When are you putting out another video, video miss lady? lol

    Have a great weekend Nia!

  • @tressfreecre8tions maybe tomorrow! thanks u too!

  • @tressfreecre8tions i think her transitioning video was one of the first i saw! she also helped inspire my journey!

  • I have been making my own ones for years. I find that it is a lot easy to costomize them when I make them myself. I sew and do those types of things so I never even thought to make a video about this. I loved your though.

  • @belushes: Thanks hun!
