@BananaPeel127 the point he's trying to put across is that it seems that Christians try to separate themselves from the world so much that we sometimes disconnect ourselves to the point where we can't minister to them. We are so disconnected that we can't spread the word of God to the world, because we won't even speak to the world. And this is very true for some Christian but not all.

All those books haven't helped me. I even got the one by Amy (or Anne) Graham Lotz and it was nice, but it didn't address the issue.

The book that came closest to helping was called 'Disappointment W/ God,' by Phillip Yancy. And my pastor gave it to me. I thought I wasn't allowed to be disappointed until my pastor said even prophets experienced disappointment.

What helped most was meeting a person, who went through the same experience.

So. We're supposed to live exactly like the world, go where the world goes, do what they do, drink what they drink, talk like they talk, wear what they wear? So they can see Jesus in us and know Him? It's true we forget that we are called to be in the world but not of it. If we take Jesus as our yardstick, his idea of ministry was touching every strata of his society, not ministering only to the converted. Nothing has changed, that is still His desire living in us. Lets allow Him out to connect with our world that he loves so much.

Awesome Video... SO True we have seperated ourselves from the World so much with us becoming so secure in our own salvation that we have lost our Zeal to minister to others. We have seperated ourselves so much that when we do try to minister they reject us because we have judged and rejected them. Basically it's saying that we, as Christians, have worked so hard to come up with ideas to separate us from the world so that it doesn't become a bad influence on us that we've gotten to the point where we've stopped being a positive influence on the world. It's a great thing that we have all these things to turn to, but we can't let it stop us from witnessing to the world. Hope that helps. if youre talking about the part where he says "if the world can't touch you, you can't touch the world" It talking about being a witness to the people in the world. If we become so comfortable where we are in our walk with god that we don't reach out to others, we might make it to heaven, but we are still doing just what satan wants us to. He wants us to become cold and indifferent so that we can't bring other people to Jesus...
