Tarpon fishing in Boca Grande

I caught a 145 pound tarpon and it got eatin and it was in boca grande

my friend has pictures of his boat where HItler had taken off the back of his motor and transom, i also know myself been down there during tarpon season and had 2-300 lbs tarpons come up with only the head.. like your video, plus my dad, said he was in a proline or deep in the bay and went to dive off front and a shadow rolled under boat bigger than his boat which was 19ft. this shark is huge, i have hear stories for yrs about this thing,,,,, people say he's fake, yea right

Exciting to see the first couple of times. That fish is 20-30 years old. We travel all the way from Sweden to fish BG pass and use to free spole or even cut the line when sharks come too close a silver king like that. Good video anyways!

you show more respect than the locals for doing that, thank you! these rich idiots here who know nothing about fishing go down to BG and hire someone to catch them a tarpon, they're going after 100-200 lb fish with bass tackle not proper tarpon gear..this leads to the fish exausting himself nearly to death and they become vulnerable to sharks..rich idiots who have no business tarpon fishing kill hundreds of tarpon a year and it makes me sick

we entered the boca grande pass tournament and 3 of our fish were swallowed by shark

I've seen stuff like that before, cept the shark at the fish on my line whole, so then I got a shark, it was amazing to watch it.
