He's a chunky boy. I'm 13 and my horse is really cute too and a great jumper. He's cheeky though, I like a challenge. I love him to pieces. If I'm angry at something, I'll go to his stable and sit with him all say all my worries. He's the only horse that can do that for me. I love it when he rests his head in my arms. I fell off him the other day and he galloped off, then stopped, then came back and snuggled into my arms. Rascal's my best friend...

This is really a great jumper. Look at his front leggs, he jumps "flat" cuz he doesn´t need to jump any other way, when the fences get higher his jumps get so much better. He´s just a smart horse saving energy. Cool cool horse,

He even stayed in the middle free jumping. You have quite the horse there. Have you ever heard of Gary Striker? I trained with him on my horse Possum for 2 years and I want to go back to him. I had to leave because of the cost. But I think he would help you and your horse very much. I got m horse Possum and at first he didn't really know much about jumping, but it only took a few lessons and I won a halter at my first jumping show. You should ride your horse through that, I have. So fun!

looks like he got a workout! and i agree: so much like Apache...though Patch isn't quite that advanced yet. He would probably try it and then his brain would explode. I liked the camera angle when it was on the mounting block. It was a cool perspective to watch a horse jump from.

Yeah, plus Apache is much younger, too. When I first got Duncan, this would def. have been too much for him, both height-wise and with the number of efforts in there. My trainer set this up and I was like, "Wow, if I was a horse, I'd probably trip over myself and end up in a heap about a third of the way in." Fortunately, Dunc's more graceful than I am!
